Anybody actually contacted a MAC dealer?

Out of the 3 big tool guys, MAC is the hardest to get a hold of. I had success with the local Snap-On and Matco dealers. Anybody here had success with tracking down a dealer to buy new stuff, warranty anything or both? If so did you call the 800 number or somehow search the website?

around here mac is best. snap-on guys ditch this route every few months.

stop by a local shop and those guy's for the mac mans #.

I saw one once. Still trying to figure out if the Mac truck down the street is still in operation, it's in the same place every time I go by it.

We used to have a mac guy but the last guy only lasted a few months and for some reason no one liked the guy before him.

And now the matco guy hasnt stoped in for a few weeks.

The mac guy stopped coming around about three months ago after he wouldn't warranty out a breaker bar for a tech. The tech gave him a broken heavy duty breaker bar with a handle. The guy came back and gave him the light duty one without the handle. The tech told him that is not the same one. The mac guy said sorry can't help you its the only one that I can give you. So the tech put it in the vice and broke it. Gave it back to him and said don't come back. Bought a snap on one the next day.

I still hold my opinion that MAC tools are decent...DECENT, true they have outsourced like its nobody's business for alot of their stuff but their remaining USA stuff is pretty good. I try to buy Snap-On and Matco when at all possible.

Not quite the same thing or even close. So yeah when you pay good money for something like that and get a **** one as a replacement that will make you mad.

Mac rhymes with **** for a reason.

Poor service, poor dealers (If you are the 1-100 person to find one)

I don't think I will add there tools in with that, They are just to hit and miss for me.
