It's been a while since I ran into good luck so I figured I'd share today's big score with all of you.

There is an indoor flea market about 2 miles from my house. I've been going there for a decade at least and never found so much as a decent socket. Today that all changed.

I came across a vendor booth and saw a sign that read, "Worn out half inch Blackhawk tools. Still make good display items. -$10".

Hmmm, could this be true? Nope. The condition is far too good for these two to be worn out. What we have here are two beautiful 1930s Blackhawk 7/16th drive tools. HOORAY!!!!

I hope this is a good omen for the 2019 junk season. Last year was rough.

7/16" drive? That's a new one for me. Or is it an old one?

7/16th drive didn't catch on like Blackhawk had hoped. Here is a clip from the 1939 Blackhawk catalog telling you why you need 7/16th instead of 3/8ths and 1/2 inch drive tools.
