Guess I'll give it a shot and order one of the cheaper ones...if I end up getting one of those respirators for that price I'll be thrilled, if not, it's Amazon so a return is easy.

What's odd is that if you change the .ca to .com, to show the Amazon listing for the same ASIN number, one goes to $325 USD, and the other $320 USD.

Something seems fishy, but at the same time it also looks legit.

It says "temporarily out of stock," but there are times when that turns into "sorry, something changed and we can't get fulfill your order."

They're two different model numbers. Look at the item description.

If you order this:

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B001DD5KRQ/?tag=atomicindus04-20

This is what you'll get:

https://www.mpsuppliesusa.com/3m-st...-12-in-14-20-external-5-per-case-p-44216.aspx
You're talking the 28754 number? That does bring me to those disc pads.

However on the listing there's also:
Part Number 3MR7800S-M - which is correct
UPC 051138542580 - which matches to 3M's site here:
https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/company...licone-1-EA-Case/?N=5002385+3294780249&rt=rud

Yeah, the temporarily out of stock makes me think they'll cancel the order outright (has happened to me before on out of stock items).

Thing is, I've been looking for a good full face respirator for a while and like the look of the 7800S over the 6000 series since I have a couple 7502's I use regularly and they've been great. So when I came across this one at that price, it certainly was enticing.

Either way I placed an order and we'll see what happens I guess.

The cheap one is no longer listed as sold by Amazon.ca as of today. My order isn't yet cancelled, but I feel like it's coming.

So what is the difference between a 7800 respirator mask and the 6800/6900 respirator mask ?
Mostly just the 7800 uses silicone in more places and is double flanged which makes it more comfortable and has a better seal. Judging from my experience with the 7500 half masks compared to any other I've used, it's a HUGE improvement with silicone.

Yes that's what I'm going by.

Even the US site lists that number for it but at the higher $300+ price. I'm guessing that's just something mistake given it's the ONLY thing that doesn't match the 7800S mask when you compare all the other numbers.

Either way, I doubt I'm ever going to see this thing but the order I placed is still open.

Woo! I'm glad it worked out in the best possible way!
Yeah me too, I've wanted a nice full face for a long time as goggles with the half mask just don't quite cut it for some of the work I've done (especially concrete and grinding).

I've wanted to try one too, but 3M says it can't be used with glasses, at least not without a special RX accessory.
