I don't think it was a mistake (it working online was clearly spelled out in the original terms), I think they're just fickle/indecisive. Sears seems to think randomly changing offers out from under customers is a great way to get more business.

Yea, it's all confusing. Buddy finally got enough points + coupon for an order but it just errored out saying "In-Store only" even though the exact same barcode clearly took $7 off yesterday.

My question is, why is there a "Shop Now" button for an in-store coupon?

It's all messed up.....Strange minds at Sears.

Just glad I hurried up on Monday to order to get my $14 off, or I'd be more frustrated now.

Exactly! Only reason I've been playing it is because it's more frustrating to keep skipping over when you are trying to do the other games.

You don't even get the option of 50 or 100 points.

Oh dang, that's disappointing! I hadn't checked the rules yet. So much for this being a replacement for Fantasy Friday (which was always good for at least $0.15).

They did change it.

This week it's 150, 300, 3,000, and 15,000 as the prize per period.

EDIT: Wow, it feels like Christmas! I usually don't do great on WWW but strangely it gave me 150 x 3 and a 3,000 for a total of $3.45.

Managed to get in on the first round in the nick of time, but I also got zero wins.

Then I saw that only the usual $5,000 is allotted for the game. So, a total $15,000 for three rounds today.

It was easier to get 15 cent wins (or even 25 cent wins) when SYW allotted $30 - $40k, for one round.

This WWW is sure giving some strange results.

Noticed here everybody stating basically giving nothing but seeing 3 or more over at SD claiming to have hit the $15.

Though, over at SD and some more over at FB are having the same problem as me where the $3 isn't adding if you won it during the first period.

I hope I'm not out of luck as $3 is hard to come by these days......

I didn't realize stuff like that was still occuring as often. Folks over at SD make it sound more like if i doesn't show up within a few hours you are probably out of luck.

Nah, delayed wins almost always show up eventually.


I won the $1 WW this evening, and eventually one $0.15 in the second round of WWWed. Nothing yet in round three (when I'm not winning, I try to spread out the plays).

Funny enough got the $1 also but strangely that credited immediately.

Guess just a very slow day because MasterCard Points typically add like 4-4:30PM CST but they didn't show until like 6PM CST.

Last WWW was all losses but for not getting Bonus Wins for like 1 1/2 months except like 1 $1, it was nice so for WWW was 3 x 150, 3,000, and a 300. So $4.75 if you add the $1 WW also for the day which hasn't happened for me in months.

Looks like Personal Shoppers really scrutinize the account for their services.

Just heard a new one where some MasterCard Points were added but the PS said it shows on their end that the MC Points were Sweeps.

So they claim for the security of the account in case it was hacked or something they have to have an accounts security team take a look at it.

While it's nice to get FS, it looks like PSes really examine things more than Chat or Phone agents do.

I think the only way to get an official 'progress report' on that is to make an in-store purchase, there should be a thing that prints out after the receipt saying how much more you need to spend. Otherwise, I guess search your bank account for recent Sears transactions and add them up? The Sears.com and SYW order histories are very confusing to try to figure out how much you actually spent.

The points system, and the whole Sears dysfunction talked me out of a toolbox purchase yesterday. ...
They're also behind the competition on boxes. Everyone else has gone to 22" to 24" depth, Sears is stuck at 18". At the same price per inch of box, it makes them non-competitive. I need to buy 4 to 6 boxes in the next few months for garage workbench base storage, Home depot will probably get my business instead because of the better depth.

More than anything else, Sears is struggling with relevance in a very competitive retail environment.

Harbor Freight has some great toolchests too.

Same here, I can't make heads or tails of it at all.

They claim all they see is Sweeps Points and like the Credit Card points came out of no where and it doesn't say where they came from.

So now until the "team" checks out the account, they have paused doing an order.

Unless they think users have figured out a way to "hack" their own account and add points.

If someone could do that, I'd think they could just add enough points to cover a big enough order that they'd be willing to pay for the shipping fee (or drive to a store) to avoid scrutiny.

Just a small update.

Guess there is some glitch in the system as I was concerned maybe the PS had incorrect info or something.

But real quick wanted to see if a Chat agent could see any notes of progress in account.

They stated exact same thing that randomly points were added to the account and from their end they can't tell it was credit card or what actually put it there.

I don't understand why "My Points" clearly shows it's all from MasterCard but their end it just seems like a mysterious addition.

Strangely, MC points from 2 days ago, they can easily tell it's MC Points.

Figures after things go relatively well, everything goes frustrating.....

Still no sign of $3 win and $0.15.

Also still no response from the supposed "team" verifying the credit card points.

Always seems like with Sears everything goes 1-2-3 one second then you get a period of failure.

EDIT: Shortly after this post, guess they figured out the Credit Card issue and placed my order. So only issue now is to see the missing points eventually.

Uh-oh, there's a couple people on SD saying they contacted SYW about their $3 win that didn't show up, and were told that due to some kind of glitch on Wednesday, the win wasn't valid.
