Hey all, I've mostly been lurking for the last year. I moved from Iowa and my small 2 car (https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=330489) to Michigan and an even smaller 17.5'x17.5' 2 car April of 2018. It ***** not having the space to tinker, so I closed on a house last month and I finally have a garage with some space for my toys! The garage even came with a house!
When I took possession the garage had a couple of goofy partition walls(ignore the instagram filter):
It currently has a 20amp panel (which will need upgraded) and it looks like there is a gas line already in the ground, but it's open on both ends so I'm not sure if I'll need to trench a new one or if I can work with the existing pipe. I threw in a new garage door opener, lock on the people door and the window is getting replaced with a vinyl double pane with the rest of the house. My sister was in town this weekend so we tore down one of the partition walls and made almost enough room for all of my cars:
The truck is about 1.5 feet too long, but I think I can slide things around at least for the winter with a few car dollies. I'm a single car guy so all the cars are mine, if anyone is curious:
2019 Subaru STi (all stock with window tint and mud flaps)
2015 F150 (all stock)
1999 Camaro z28 with a procharger and lots of suspension work mainly a stupid fun street car
Unfortunately I'll be out of the country for a few weeks so there won't be a ton of progress, but I'll keep this updated best I can.
