So yesterday we were getting some good rain.
Didn’t feel like doing much so was looking at CL and offer up and found this.
Contacted the seller and went over to grab it.
Loaded it in the rain getting all wet. It was a pain to load as it was slippery but the sellers kids helped

Better weather today so unloaded it into the shop. Unload was easier as I got to use the neighbors fork lift

What did I pay you ask.....$200
That’s why I was willing to get wet to get it

Now the problem.
I was originally planning to sand and paint he box to make it all nice and pretty....
Bot I’m more thinking that I just want to get it in place and move on to filling it...

Decisions, decisions....

From your pics, it doesn’t look bad at all. If that’s factory paint (powdercoat?) I would just scrub it clean, maybe apply some car wax, and put it to use.

SMH at the thought that someone would let that beauty go for a measly 2 Benjamins. That's a lot of space for $200.

If you do not paint it now, you likely will not later. Great find! Closest thing I have found for machine tooling at a reasonable tightwad price is the HF 22” cabinets.

The blue is a bad spray paint job.
The green color you see where stickers were removed is the original color

What is said was right, if I don’t paint it now I never will. Very very true.
I guess I feeling like a lazy ***

I would take the drawers out and try to dry it out and re-lube all the slides if it has been out in the rain.

The inside of the drawers are dirty.
I will at minimum be removing all th drawers and degreasing/pressure washing all of them.
I will also clean and lube the rollers.
I also want to change the order of the drawers

That is an insane price- even if you have to paint it. Consider having a pro powder coat it if the rollers aren’t worn out.

And maybe donate some money to charity as penance, lol. Or take your wife out to a nice dinner to celebrate your fortune.

Changing the order of drawers areound is cake. I’ve become a lista convert in the last decade or so - should have done it earlier

I am still far too new here to suggest suckage for anyone. That said, the barometer dropped 30 points when I started reading this thread.

Congrats !

If you are already planning to remove all the drawers and clean, it isn't that much more work to remove the pull handles and give the drawer fronts a rattle-can spray job. While the drawers are out and drying you can do a quickie cleanup on the cabinet itself and spray it as well.

Granted, it will be a ten or fifteen-foot paint job but that will be better than no paint at all.
