OK,

Was not able to change language on the mobile version.

Standard and Metric in my cart. Now I'm hearing these may not be German but made in India.

Has anyone ordered these offsets recently? Are they stamped Germany?

Thanks its all worked out now, seems it saves language preferences.

I'm not buying these wrenches if they are made in India or China.

Waiting on confirmation that recent purchases are german made

They are absolutely, unequivocally not made in India or China.

Can anybody confirm for sure what the COO is on the SAE set of Stahlwillie deep offset double box wrenches? We decided the metrics are German mfg. I’m thinking of ordering them too while I wait on the metric set but I don’t want any turd world country wrenches.

Wish I could tell you. My package for the metric set arrived today but the shipping box was completely empty. Royal Mail ink stamped it saying "Received without contents" and "Received Unsealed". They used a pretty pathetic package where the end busted out. Either the wrenches pounded their way out, or some guy with sticky fingers opened it up between Amazon shipping and the Royal Mail handoff.

Awww ****. I hope this isn’t how it’s going to be. Amazon has always taken care of me when there’s a problem. Hopefully Amazon de. will be no different.

I'm sure they will straighten it out. I'll just file a claim with my credit card company if they don't since the box has all the stamps on it from the origin, so that will make it a straightforward claim.

By the way, the package originated from a warehouse in Scottland, not Germany.

My Stahlwelle offset metric set from amazon.de was lost in the mail and after about 6 weeks they gave me a full refund. The shipping method didn't have a tracking and god only knows what happened to it.

Mine didn't have a tracking number either. Annoying. If I were to do it again, I would pay for a little faster shipping to get tracking.

Mine arrived today, complete set in it's box. The outer packaging was very flimsy, I could see how the tools could fall out. Here are pics. I am extremely pleased with the wrenches, fit on a bolt is significantly tighter than my old Craftsman Professionals and they weigh less.

Yep, same packaging. No wonder the box came out...

How the hell are they going to ship a weighty item across the globe packed like that? That’s pitiful. guess I’ll wait and see what shows up. Still waiting on mine. I’d like to order the SAE set too but I’ll hold out for this package first.

Amazon.de has pretty terrible packaging from my experiences of buying from them. Most of the time everything made it, but one time it took 3 tries to get a wrench set from them and the last time I just took the refund rather than hope they could figure out how to pack something right. Seemed like things that come in larger boxes but aren't too heavy like Knipex plier sets fared the best. Stahlwille motor 10 wrenches that come in those folding wallets always made it too. The deals are pretty good and it's probably worth taking the chance, but I've become reluctant to buy from them unless I can't find another source.

All is needed is them to be wrapped in a layer or two of bubble wrap and tape. That'll make them survive anything! Some were saying these sets may have been Taiwan production, is that the case? They look identical to my German Stabil 20 series, I'm sure folks will be happy with them IMO there a much better buy than any mirror polish tool truck wrench sets. I noticed also no size 21?

Amazon already replied; they are shipping out a replacement ASAP. Now I just get to wait another 2 weeks until it arrives...

The SAE set came in today. They feel like silk. Very impressive finish, weight and balance. Better than I expected, actually. Made in Germany.

My metric set arrived today.....barely. The torn Stahlwillie box broke through the ****** packing job the vendor did and got re bagged in shipping. Luckily everything was in there. There’s really no excuse for packing this poor. I wouldn’t pack something destined for across town like this let alone across the ocean. Anyway enough bitching about that.

The wrenches are superb. Nice smooth forging, smooth satin chrome, nicely ground and finished. This is my first experience with Stahlwillie tools. They appear very nice and are the deepest offset I’ve ever seen. If they prove to be quality in use then they’re a steal. I’d like to order the SAE set but it’d be a coin toss if they’d make it with their packaging.

Good to hear you got them all in spite of the sh*** packaging.

The SAE set arrived in an actual box, which is good. Except they didn’t use any packing material, so it was beat to hell by the time it got to my house. I think the SAE set may be a little longer and that’s why they used different packaging.

I'm impressed with the thought the folks at Stahlwillie put into these wrenches, They really forged and ground them for maximum access and clearance. I think I'll be very pleased with them. Anybody want to take bets on the SAE set also arriving intact? :)

The metric set arrived in regular box this time. Just as nice as the SAE set.

For those looking for something made in the USA, I did run across this new 5-piece Matco set. The lister did a terrible job in the title and description, so it is nearly impossible to find through a typical search. Believe me, I almost lost it... anyway, maybe someone else has a need now that I don’t. I had offered $65 at one point, but it was declined.

Oh man...I love that American flag reflection in the gleaming chrome on those wrenches. That's a nice touch. Someone here needs to buy those.....

That Matco set is missing a wrench.

My SAE set from Germany is due 3/21.

My SAE set arrived early. It was due 3/21 but arrived complete on 3/11. The packaging was better this time, shipped in a real box, but everything was still beat to ****. The wrenches are fine and look/feel great. All six are marked Germany.
