Got the pin removed from the swivel jaw on my parker 375 today, and disassembled. Came apart easily after digging out the grease from the pin hole inside. A little heat and PB blaster and the swivel pin pulled right out. No rust what so ever. The long pin that holds the swivel down took a little bump from my air hammer to get it moving and drove right out with a punch. Again no rust. Going to clean it up in the parts washer and figure out where to go from there.
Anyone have any ideas? Vinegar soak? I think I want to paint it because of the dampness in the block garage ( only heated when I work in there), Wire brushed and linseed oil? Sand blast and paint?

It's a Parting cutter, place a piece of band iron on top, smack it with a hammer, flip it over and smack again, then bend and break. Essentially, a mounted cold chisel.

I know Va has one other known example of that mini swiveler. I wonder if they are the same jaw size.

Sorry? What's the big deal? I saw that before it sold and thought "meh".
Please educate me.
Its the smallest version the Pittsburgh automatic vise and tool co made. The last one sold was a larger model with a swivel jaw and that one almost fetched 2 grand. The vise was patented by one of the most prolific vise creators with at least a dozen or more vise patents and this being one of his creations.
