Wow that was unexpected.

I was playing the first $5 Bonus and usually always lose it.

Here I forgot to hit "Skip" so it was stuck on the spinning wheel.

Hit Skip so I can play the current Bonus.

Here it said I won, hope it still credits since game was over.

EDIT: Wow, super glad I took a screenshot. Talked to my PS and said if it doesn't show in 24 hrs, she can manually add.

Even in normal circumstances, some wins are slower to show up than others, I think yours will probably show up on its own some time today. I'm pretty sure the win/loss status is determined when you start the spin, not when you finish it. One time I got distracted in the middle of playing some game, forgot and left the wheel spinning in another tab for hours. I went to the points history page later, and the win was already showing there in an amount I knew I hadn't seen myself win yet that day. Went back to the spinning tab and finished the game, and sure enough there was that win amount.

Same here, I one time was playing an Instant Win Game.

Left it spinning, got a phone notification saying "Congrats you won 250 points" or something. Hit Skip and "Winner 250 points" screen.

I just never let a Bonus with a time limit game accidentally spinning before.

Seems like daily now, another user jumps on the SD thread all getting "Already Issued."

Was fun while it lasted, especially since Sweeps Points are so low and they seem to have virtually ended online coupons.

Looks like SYW's website has broken even more.

Now "My Points" won't even show me anything.

Oh, great. Same here. It did it a little bit last night, but changing from "1 month ago" to "3 months ago" was enough to get around it then.

Weird gimmick on a new Xtra game today... "Mystery Game". "We'll never tell - what will you win when you spin?" The prizes are no great 'mystery', spelled out as usual in the rules - a range of points from $0.25 to $2. Oh well, I'll take it.

"Lucky Rainbow" has started working again for me, BTW.

Ugh, bad timing to need to make a purchase tonight before points expire... I'll have to try to get a price match when the 10% sale starts in a few days. Got my order up to $35.** so I could at least use a $5 off $35 coupon this time (new filler idea I haven't exhausted yet: Craftsman putty knives!), since the $5 off $15 is still dead. That coupon will mean a risk of extra hassle with the chat people though.

Last time I had to get a price-adjustment refund on out-of-pocket spending, it did show up on my bank account in a few days, but it was shorted a bit... did get almost the item-price-difference refunded (1 cent short), but did NOT receive the sales tax back on the refunded amount. So I'm going into this expecting that to happen again, too, but the tax amount should at least be less than the amount of points I have expiring tonight.

Sears seems to love breaking stuff...

I was told earlier by my PS that she has to wait until tomorrow for my order because they were having tech issues with the ordering system.

Luckily I have some more days before any points start expiring.

I guess at least "My Points" is back.

EDIT: LoL, after my PS already added $5 Bonus Points because we assumed maybe because I left the game open, it wasn't crediting the points, it just randomly added the $5 after 12AM CST.

So I guess it was actually a win. I wasn't sure if possibly it was just an accidental triggering of the win screen because game was technically over.

I miss all potential sources of points... The hidden Welcome Center game is still going, in that format, but it's mostly a waste of time except for the beginning-of-the-month doorbuster, since there are no small prizes for more people to win.

Other than the decrease in the number of available games, there's also the previous reasons that I mentioned.

Wow, down to two games in the Featured section, and one is expiring tonight.

This is the original SYW Sweeps section. I've liked that you can track the number of entries, and there is a Winners section for these games. So far, this is also the only section that can display the pink Doorbuster ribbons.

Going to miss as every now and then the IWGs were good for a quick $2, $5, $10, or even $20/$25.

I really don't understand SYW's plan entirely. It seems like one minute they are letting virtually every Sweep die, then they random load up a bunch, then it starts to die again.


Feels like they are telling their users "Ok, it's over soon! No just kidding! Oh wait, may be over again! No just kidding!"

Originally, yes, Sears was receiving a cut of the transaction fees, interest, and/or some other usage-based structuring. But a year or two ago, they got desperate for cash and made a deal with Citi for an up-front lump sum in lieu of their usual cut. I don't know if that restructured contract is still in effect at this time, and if the acquisition last month will change that at all. There may have been provisions that Sears wasn't allowed to change the incentives on their end to potentially decrease usage during the time that their non-usage-based contract is/was in effect, since Citi would have calculated the lump sum based on expected usage under existing incentive programs. Other than possible contractual obligations, there may also be an inertia element to it - the systems are running on autopilot at this point and nobody's taken a close look at the math lately.

Unfortunately my recent PA refund seems to have kept the original points expiration dates, so I've got to make another purchase by this coming Sunday. This will sure help, if it actually shows up.

I had accumulated almost $23 recently, so I decided to go for it and finally bite on one of the MOB Peddinghaus sets. I'll post up when it comes in.
