Picked these up in Japan at Hodaka Pro Tool Store(A tool lover’s dream store). The Wise Super Ball Wrenches were what I was after; this is the standard size which I decided to get on my 2nd Trip. On my 1st trip i bought 2 sets of the extra long which are identical length as Wiha long. Rockwell hardness is up there close to Wiha at 59 to 61. The cheater bar is what really sells this set to me. While i was looking through the isles, I spotted these levels in clear blocks. I became fascinated but my business trip partners were rushing me so i just grabbed 2 of each.

6500 yen each; which equates to probably between 55 and $60. You can order them on eBay for not much more than that but they are all shipping from Japan there are none in the US for sale on eBay. I believe I saw them for $65-$70 with free shipping. I was on the job visiting machine shops in Japan and I saw a set of these and I just had to have some. I could tell they were quality and that the hardness was up there pretty high because The worker in the machine shop cranked on grade 8 bolts for a living and they had no noticeable wear. No rounding.

I don't think I've posted here before - been awhile since I bought any new tools of any great consequence. Been jones-ing for a set of the Torx wrenches and finally pulled the trigger. I have the same set in Hex, but the motorcycles are 95% torx...these will be really handy.

My old craftsman 1/4" gave up the ghost and I decided it was time to up the game with my first (and second, too!) Dual80 ratchets. I almost bought the SK 80 tooth the other day and at the last minute, I put it back...glad I did!

The bent-handle flex-head was just icing on the cake. I've always wanted one...happy early birthday to myself. ;)

And now, to tell the wifey what I did....forgiveness...permission...you know the drill.

I'm jealous. It must be nice to have every nut and bolt that could be needed.

Where did you get those? And how much did they set you back?

Went though a local supply house so I could tweak the assortment to my liking. For both sets, it was right at $2k with bins.

You can post in the TOJ thread as well: https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97563

BTW, interestingly Bhondus Japan sells those with the Bhondhus label on them.

View media item 91400I needed a pick longer than the mini pick set I have replacing a door lock actuator and these were on promo, the pry tool everyone seems to be buying, and the discontinued HS50 Quick Cutter set. I had one on my wish list for a long time, and someone here posted it was discontinued. Sure enough, it was. I texted my dealer, he didn't have any, but another dealer on the dealer-only Facebook group did. My guy got it from him and now its mine for just a few bucks more than a used one on Ebay.

part number on the pry tool?

Snappy gold Torx, new

I have the lowly SO non-gold Torxeseses...

Technically, they are not torx, they are actually oversized and you should expect them to be tight to the point that it is better to pound them in, otherwise you can actually round out the fastener. I love them, but it was a lesson I learned that turned into a process I wish I hadn't had to do. The non gold ones are licensed "torx" and fit perfectly without any extra effort, but they are not as strong.

I bought one from amazon. I may order one from Snap On, but only after I break one, that way it will get replaced for free. If I don't break one, then I won't buy one from Snap On, if that makes sense.

Got the HF tool cart I purchased a few weeks ago at the parking lot sale put together.

I bought this to throw all of my old Kobalt tools I’ve upgraded into. It will be my boys set of tools. Need to get a few more socket holders to get it all set up. This won’t see much actual use for a while my boys are 6 and 3. But my 3 yr old loves to “help” me but I hate searching for my tools after he’s done!

Yard tool! New to me, good friend of mine has a big landscape company and trades every 2 years. Only 400 hours and got it for a steal.

Couple Vessel ball grip screwdrivers. Really love the feel of the ball grip in my hand - especially the larger one.
