I'm looking for recommendations for bolting down my 4 post lift. Bolting it down is just my preference to give me piece of mind regarding stability. I won't need to move it around.
The manufacturer just recommends a minimum of 3 1/4" into the concrete.
What type of fastener would you all suggest? I've read of some pulling up after time and others immediately pulling up. I've read an epoxy assisted fastener may work well for this.

I used the epoxy assist for the bolts. No problem after years installed. I wanted them tied down also, rather than any tip or movement issues.

There’s no uplift on the anchors, so just shear (if any).
So any anchor will do. Wedge anchors are fine. Adhesive anchors are also fine, but overkill.

I used Hilti Drop in Anchors as I didn't want a 3/4" stud sticking up out of the concrete if I removed the lift .
The situation as with a wedge anchor.

Four post lifts generally don't need to be bolted down at all, so you don't have to worry about it moving around. Any sort of Hilti or expansion anchor should work.

I had to bolt mine down as the 3/4 ton Dodge diesel at times moved it forward a couple inches.... My shop floor is hard troweled concrete...very smooth finish.
....plus we have earthquakes around here.
I Don't want my two lifts Hop Scotching around the shop.

Mine is not bolted down with a small car on it and during our most recent earthquake it did not move around. I did have items fall of the shelf but no issues with the lift. Painted floor also. I chose to not anchor since I wanted the ability to move it anywhere in my shop when needed and I also opted for the 110v model for ease of power option too. I can stand to wait a few seconds more to raise the lift.

I bought those as well for my gun safe so I don't have to lift 900 lbs over exposed studs. Is the setting tool really required?

My Bendpak HD-9 is not bolted down. It came with the concrete bolts which I'm not gonna use. Did your lift come with anchors?

Same here. I can across the box of the BendPAk supplied anchors the other day. If anyone can use them...come and get 'em. Or..they're going in the trash...

The setting tool is necessary to lock (wedge) it into the concrete so it cannot spin or pull out.

That's kind of what I figured. Can I use a standard punch/piece of round bar or does the internal feature of the anchor require expansion or something similar from a dedicated tool?

Been less than a year on my install. Probably just leave them on an upper shelf until I need that space. I'm sorta a pakrat.

Could donate them to the local Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store.

Buy the tool ....
It has a shoulder on it for the driving depth of the plug in the anchor.
