I didn’t but I’m surprised at just how much some of the Snap On stuff sold for.

Not sure if this is a supply and demand thing or what, but I've never seen a Snap On tool sell used local in Canada (southern Ontario) for a decent price. Some of the prices in that auction are bonkers. $170 for a pair of old used low tooth count ratchets? $350 for a used SAE set of combo wrenches?? Dear lord.

Same thing if you look at classifieds around here. "Barely used (probably strange sizes) SO tool, will sell for $10 less than I paid on the truck 6 months ago".

You’re right. Someone got caught up in the auction game to pay those prices. Especially the old worn ratchets. I’ve seen it in person before where this big gangster looking dude paid almost double for a new (out of package) return Craftsman miter saw. He got so excited thinking it looked all bad@$$ on the table. I remember the auctioneer’s face lighting up like the Grinch when it started hitting the absurd numbers.
