If you have a phone/tablet of any sort, check out FreedomPop (the Free Phone/Texting app not the actual cell carrier itself).

I also have prepaid texts and like how it gives you 500 free SMS/mo so you can text without wasting money.

There is also DingTone but that requires viewing ads every now and then to get more credits.

Texting from one of those apps results in being completely ignored by the Sears/Kmart texting system. They don't want people getting tons of duplicate coupons/offers that easily. My Sears-related usage is generally infrequent enough to not matter much, but doomed coupon request texts is something I try to avoid on principle, especially since it sometimes takes them something like half a dozen split replies to get done telling me I can go check out their amazing coupon center again.

Does anyone know, do the social media spins not always count properly on XTRA?

Buddy was playing WWW and he did the Twitter spin he accidentally activated it twice as he hit it once and it said no win but when he got back to Xtra the Twitter Spin said not played so he did it again.

2nd time it said $15.

Thought in the case of a double play for the exact same play you get the same result?

He asked me but figured I'd ask here as I never heard of such a thing. $15 hasn't added yet so we are hoping it's not just a fluke and not actually a win.

Not exactly the same bug since WWWed only lets you do 1 of each per round normally, but I think it will similarly still count...

I think the social media and video spins on some games will sometimes be misconfigured so that they let you do multiple attempts on the same day, but they still cut you off at whatever the total play limit for that play type is throughout the duration of that game. (For example, the other day I kept getting video spins on one of the newer games. Usually I don't even bother attempting the video spins these days, but I felt like it that day. The total possible video spins on that game is 40, and I used up maybe a dozen of them that day.) I've seen this happen occasionally in the past too, back when there were more frequent small wins so I felt more motivated to get in every possible spin every day; once I'd hit the total allowed earlier than intended, that play type remained greyed out for the rest of that game's existence.

Any wins during such spins always showed up in my points as usual, in my experience.

Thanks, that's what we figured. Just would be a real bummer in these slow win days to be told you got $15 and it never credited....

So far still waiting but I know those $15's can take hours to days while other times they are instant.

Anytime I won $5 or more, I'd take a screenshot just in case. It did help me on one occasion

Yeah, that happens so rarely that I always forget to screenshot when it does - noticing the win at the last second as I reflexively hit the continue button. Fortunately they've all showed up on their own, so far. Hoping to get some more screenshot-worthy wins soon.

Starting to look like possibly may have to send the screenshot as we still don't see the $15 yet and soon it will be an entire 24 hours.

Guess best to give it like 3 days as when a win doesn't show, it seems like for some reason the third day is the "magic" number.

Yeah, there are some things I really would like to buy that have become unavailable/unorderable and I'm not happy about it... one I just discovered today is gone, there had been 1 left in my store for in-store purchase only, just saw it a week ago, decided today to buy it when I went to do my order pickup, and now the darn thing is gone... only 1 store (one of the franchise ones) for several hundred miles around (I checked other zip codes to look beyond a hundred) still admits to having any, and it can only be ordered for in-store pickup there... it's somewhere I'd never go otherwise and it would cost $15 in gas, so that ain't happening. I'm not optimistic about it ever restocking. If only I'd bought things in a different order than I did, but I never know what will get pulled out from under me next...

You've had a lot of experience with the personal shoppers, I don't suppose they have any way of getting a store to ship something that the website doesn't allow to be shipped?

I know a few items that it will say they are back in stock but somehow Sears manages to send a completely different item.

My favorite was when KMART decided to "cut their losses" and send somebody I knew two 16GB Micro SD cards when they ordered a 32GB.

So far I haven't run into any problems like that. I've had damaged items a couple times, got them replaced for free and got to keep the damaged ones, so that worked out pretty good. I know some people do get sent the wrong stuff (some much more wrong than the SD cards - like, order an SD card and get a pair of socks instead), but that seems to be more of an issue with individual stores doing ship-to-home. Only the warehouses can do ship-to-store, and they are usually more accurate.

So far I haven't run into any problems like that. I've had damaged items a couple times, got them replaced for free and got to keep the damaged ones, so that worked out pretty good.

Yea, luckily for me when they send the wrong item, typically chat just tells me to keep the item and they'll order another. Too bad PS seems less likely to do this now as one order was given a shipping label to return wrong item. Kmart seems more likely than Sears to swap items.

Sometimes the local store will give you a better product than what you ordered. I remember one time ordered a $6.99 or $7.99 item and they sent a slightly better $9.99 item. Thought that was pretty cool.

On a good note, I did win the $4 Bonus yesterday. Funny enough right after I thought "Can you imagine if I won this?" LoL

Had a strange feeling that may occur.

The SD card I mentioned a little bit ago was like that.

It would say out of stock sometimes but it would actually let you order it, but would be sent to a store that doesn't actually have the item or the store would randomly send you a substitute.

It was like the item was it's own Sweeps Game like "Order this item and discover what you'll get when UPS delivers!"

Now it seems to have stayed on OOS as maybe they received too many complaints.

Your PS was able to help you with missing points when you sent them a screenshot of a $5 win a few weeks ago, right? I guess $15 is too much for them to handle?

Somebody was in for the PS as she was out, but the person said will have to check with manager as even though have a screenshot, since it was via Win It, a date nor username was shown.

But said the normal PS will follow up on Mon along with Manager, so guess will see.

I ended up with 6 out of 10 nickels, and the 2:20-4pm game must have given me a dollar too but I didn't get to see the win screen between all the error messages on it.
