Needed a small portable vac for around the shop/house. Picked this little guy up at Walmart today for $19.95.

I tested it and it has pretty good suction. The hose has a tab on the end that clicks into the main body and keeps it from pulling out. Also it hangs on the wall so it won't take up any floor/bench space which means I won't be tripping over it or having to move it out of the way every time I turn around.

It'll do.
:thumbup: I have one like it. It is just the thing when the big 16 gallon shop vac is just too much.

Haven't bought anything in a while. From my SO driver - bent handle comfort grip SO ratchet and locking 1/2 in impact extensions.

I guess I can't post a gif here. I'll attach it as a file and just say I ordered some Capri Tools stuff recently and really like the foam trays. I've kind of been on a Capri Tools kick lately and have been replacing some of the Craftsman/Kobalt/Husky stuff I had in my tool cart.

I always ask for a discount whenever my driver offers me the bent handle ratchets.

I didn't ask and he always gives me a discount on anything I buy. He knocked $40 off this one.

Severely disappointed with Snap-on, the ratchet drive binds when turning it all the way around. Had to warranty it with my driver and he gave me a working unit no problem but to put something out is poor QA on SO's part.

Those bent handle comfort grip ratchets are my favorite ratchet of all time! (I always knew them as a spark plug ratchet) mine got rebuilt within a year of buying it because I just plain used it for EVERYTHING!
Today though I got home to one of two Viking B-10 drill bit sets I ordered, I figured at $4 and change I could give one away and stash the other, maybe fill the empty slots with Viking bits from Epstein (doing that with a couple of other indexes already).

Also pictured is the $6 diamond wheel dresser, at $6 why not? The other one of the two remaining I ordered is slated to show up tomorrow. Entertainingly enough I clicked on them the other day just to see what they said and apparently now they usually ship within 1-3 months. Then the real shocker, the price is now over $25. :wtf: Made in the USA, I guess I just got lucky.

I took 3 days off from Amazon... they sent the UPS driver to check on me. I got 16 packages yesterday from UPS ... 4 more from the mailman...

I get over 1,000 items a year delivered between ebay and Amazon.

Assuming that those items are all garage related, it must be nice to have lots of discretionary money...

Thats neat. Haven't seen that before. My driver didn't mention it today. He did get me for one of these though:

You'll like that kit. I have the older version that I have had for nearly 20 years now and it works like a charm, I've just had to add a couple of adapters over the years.

I also added a "T" with a petcock that has an air fitting on it so on larger systems I can use compressed air regulated down rather than have to spend much time pumping it up and it works fantastic.

Huh. Pretty cool that it can measure pressure wirelessly... Cool handle on the right side.:willy_nil

Hahaha yeah, the name is a bit of a misnomer. The reason it's wireless is that it has a pretty nice app to pair it with a tablet or phone. This allows you to remotely monitor something if you wanted to do a test drive. I don't think I'd use that feature, but I would probably use the graphs to see pressure over time. Quiet a few non automotive applications I have in mind for it.

Use the crank holder for install only. Usually the balancer is stuck to the timing face, and you can't use it. Put it in 5th, rip the ebrake (or have someone hold the brake) and break it free. You may need to wiggle the cam gears slightly to get the lock tool in place. I was never super impressed with it frankly.

FWIW the Astro low profile sockets and my snapon/gearwrench 1/2 drive ratchets can reach the crank bolt without drooping the sway bar. I have a beefier FM bar too.

This was advertised as Xiaomi / Wiha collaboration, no marking of whatsoever, but the bits looks very nicely done and the bit holder is magnetic holding the bits nicely, the case has push lock to open too.

I also got mine yesterday, glad to finally get the helps bottle opener after almost 5 months. I had no idea they were going to send a hat for the wait. As you can see, I didn't neeed it too badly, so it was well worth the wait. I was taking to someone at KC Tools and they said the Gedore bottle openers had become a 4-letter word around there. Glad their shipments finally came through.

I also have this set, and it's one of the best designed case and micro bit sets I've ever seen. I like that it has almost every bit style you could come across working with electronics, though not many sizes in each style. And the quality seems to be no joke.

Here is the XiaoMi Wiha set next to the actual Wiha micro bit set for comparison.
I keep seeing those on amazon too. I think it’s just abchinese company using the Wiha name. But they look pretty nice.
These are made by Xiaomi in China as a co-branding partnership with Wiha.

There was a pretty release on Wiha's website, but it seems like it's been taken down or lost.

From what I remember, XiaoMi of a higher end name brand manufacturer in China and they actually did work with Wiha's design group to develop these.View attachment 882447MVIMG_20190411_084407.jpg
