Who the hell keeps letting this woman back in?!?!

First she is known to be a drunken ******* to everyone on her TV show. Then she tried to run over some guy with her truck. Then she did some BS insider trading and tax evasion.

Here is what her own daughter has to say about her:

https://abcnews.go.com/Health/marth...fectionist-mother-made-home/story?id=14642920

I have no respect for her and can't believe ANYONE is willing to do business with that woman...

Sounds like the daughter might be doing what it takes to push her own BS "tell all" book.

She had a tempestuous relationship with her daughter, but they got closer during her mother's time in a Virginia federal prison, according to press reports.

In 2005, mother and daughter worked together on television's "Apprentice," and Alexis Stewart has advanced her own career through Martha Stewart Omnimedia.

I was wandering around in the Bemidji, Mn Home Depot last Friday. Being that Bemidji is Paul Bunyan country; chainsaws are a popular selling item. But; I will now dread the thought of getting cornered in the chainsaw isle by a Martha Cult Member holding a chainsaw.

I never really got the hate people have for her, and theres always been something I liked about her. Plus she owns Edsel Ford's house in Maine and has a '58 Edsel Roundup station wagon

Yeah, my friend knows about that place. He said she had to agree to all kinds of conditions about how she would keep it up the entire time she owned it.

Stuff like the specific kind of mulch that she has to use on all the trails and the type of marble rock used on the driveway - miles of them. Apparently she has an army of landscapers that take care of things - but it's all at her direction - I bet they don't use her electric chainsaws. Apparently she's a little demanding - which I guess if OK if you are a woman who has earned half a billion dollars. .

As mentioned, there is also a pole saw and a pressure washer. Rebranded Snow Joe. She keeps about 100 chickens and I watched her "put one to sleep" by tucking it's head under it's wing and swinging it. Regardless of her disposition, or how much staff ahe has, it appears she is quite able to get her hands dirty. She comes from very modest circumstances, got into finance and married rich. The insider trading thing was a real shaft job. The FBI calls you in, has a "casual" conversation with them, not under oath, and charges you based on the slightest indescrepancy. BTW, our congressmen, who have access to all kinds of insider information, can use it to invest without being charged with insider trading. Ever wonder how those guys get so rich from an elected job?
Famous people indorse all kinds of stuff and some of it can be a bit of a reach. I guess they figure there is a female market for tools. There is some company making a whole line of power tools in pink. Dodge, in the 40s or 50s made a model aimed at women. You are not the target buyer for that chainsaw, so it is not an attack on your masculinity. LOL!!

I think that it's unacceptable congress members are excused from laws we common folk must abide to.

I get it, some people like her. I do not. Just calling it how I see it. There are more respectable people out there that should be endorsed over martha stewart.

It is about money. There are enough people out there who like her craft and cooking info to buy her signature products. Nike uses Kaepernick whose fame is based on refusing to stand for the national anthem. It is no stretch. I like New Balance but I wouldn't buy Nike even if I liked the product. Some companies just shoot themselves in the foot Gillette, owned by Proctor and Gamble had an ad trashed men for their brutish masculinity; not being sensitive enough. Pretty stupid for a company selling male grooming products. The PC crowd want to cut your ***** off.

You are correct.

I also like New Balance shoes.

I dislike hypocrites. Those same PC people who cry foul are some of the worst abusers of the very things they protest.

I wish good moral standards were more common in our culture.

Never realized there was so much drama here at GJ. Even worse that it started with Martha Stewart. You'd think the government came in and told you they're taking your US made tools and replacing them with MS imitations. Damn.

Men are beginning to fancy idle gossip, meanwhile, women are buying pickup trucks, motorcycles and well.....

Now she could endorse a chainsaw.

There are a ton of fitness folks that take up logger sports as a hobby but I know of a real lumber Jill who was born the only child of a family of loggers and could handle every facet of the industry. I think she even grew a pair but I never tried to find out. She decked a few guys at the community dances for getting out of line and I mean cold cocked em.
