Hi moderators!
I registered my account a few days ago to thank the hot deals people for helping me get a great air compressor. Since then I've only posted a couple times, and I see that the forum is now locked to those of us with low post counts.

While I hope to contribute to other areas of the forum, my immediate interest is there hot deals. My last post before this one was to the Lowe's clearance thread where I let members know of a 75% off item I found in stock. I was hoping that maybe I could be granted access since I was actively contributing even with a low post count.

Thanks!

Edit: autocorrect nightmare

I joined in 2010. I just don't post much. Seems like there should be a pass for older members.

Well, I don't feel so alone now! Based on the complaints I saw today I completely understand why it was locked down, but some of the people who exemplified the problem have >20 posts.

Anyway, mattjackets.postcount+=1

I totally understand as some seemed to be taking advantage. But, I'd hate to be Ryan trying to figure out how to fix it! (?)

I've been a member since 2006 with only 5 posts. I read more than I post.

I bought several new tools during the end of 2018 via the "Deals" forum.

Thanks

Oh
Yeah I've bought a lot of tools after seeing them in the deals section as well. Maybe being a member for a specified length of time can be used if the change was intentional.
