Color Flakes on Clear Polyurea Anyone?

Hi - wondering if anyone has broadcast flakes on just clear polyurea without using any kind of color/tint in the base coat? Wondering what that would look like. Seems like there would potentially be less waste if using clear for everything.

Less waste? I dont see how. Go with a gray, I agree and wouldn't use clear as a broadcast coat

Sorry, not a fan of that look. I have seen it. It looks terrible.

Glitter would look better.

I've seen it a couple of times. The color flakes oddly make the background (concrete) look dirty. It's more of a distracted look if that makes sense. It just doesn't go well. But...... beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

I completely agree.

We don't recommend broadcasting onto clear, you can get uneven results.

I don't see any issue broadcasting into clear.

The issues arises when you are trying to use Clear instead of a pigmented color, like gray, as your base coat. You are going to see the concrete through the coating and it will just look like ****.
