Nashville "2 Car" Garage project

I have been a member on this site for a while and learned tons of great tips and tricks along the way. I live in the city in a zero lot line "duplex" that very common in Nashville with no yard or room to expand. Bought this when we were still in a slight recession and the sellers took my low ball offer, so I'm stuck with my space unless I sell and move or buy something commercial/ some land to build what I will ultimately need.

The garage is 22x22 with 12ft ceilings, I don't have a bunch of pics from when I first started sadly but I instantly went and bought some pallet racks and cut them down to fit. Added some very bright lighting and had a 90 amp panel brought in and two 220v plugs added I have a large amount of **** in my garage both from my brother and I, yet we still store stuff elsewhere unfortunately. When I sell my crawler,

here are some pics when I first moved in

And here are some pics when i started re-doing everything and its obviously evolved over the last 6 years.

Before I started the slight makeover in February

Started by moving stuff around and painting the racks with Rustoleum hammered finish, I've found this to be very tough and hide tons of surface imperfections which is great on old used racks.

Added a TV i had laying around in storage. Mount is one from amazon and it will move out and swing side to side so you can adjust angle fast. Bought a used Apple TV and had the receiver laying around so its all wired together. The TV mount and receiver mount maybe cost 30 and they are great quality

Added another workbench so I have 14' of bench space now to fill up lol. Black cobalt box has tools in it. Larger husky i got on clearance and use it for Misc. storage because they aren't built very well. Little black box keeps things like thread locker etc.

Brought my crawler project home from storage building to finish it and get it sold

So brought down my 44" HF box with tools from a building I was renting outside of Nashville, just need to get my 2-stage Quincy from there and swap the kobalt AC out with it. Had to do some tool re-organization because having two different sets of tools obviously means I have 2-4 of a bunch of stuff once they are together. Plan on getting a 56" or bigger top and bottom box combo and bolting the 44" in my next enclosed trailer so I can consolidate.

and this is what i use the husky box for, The drawers feel so cheap and crappy so I just store misc. BS in there, nothing very heavy but its nice to keep things together. I'll get rid of all the smaller boxes when i upgrade. But keep roll cart

I work from home normally so today I decided to get some stuff done on my never ending procrastination project my crawler. Found a bunch of issues with how the person who set-up all my lines etc did the Vacuum hoses, also found the MAP was not even hooked up. Chasing down a leak on my trans but honestly think it could have just been over filled. Finding info on running all aftermarket parts and using it with other manufactures like a dodge master cylinder can be experimenting.

Also went to a high Home audio store with a friend who is a serious Audiophile that wanted to look at some macintosh amps. Ended up finding this 1080p Onkyo receiver that is a upgrade over my last unit that had no HDMI IN/Out so added this and for only 40.00 why the hell not!

Got some more done on the jeep before I get surgery on my ankle tomorrow, Got it running again and the Vacuum issues handled. The computer took a second to learn everything but it idled on it's own for about 5 minutes. I roughly played with the timing and pretty sure its close but needs someone with more knowledge than me to get it 100%

Found out the alternator is not charging so ordered a nice heavy duty 1 wire GM style, Still need to pull the T-case off and fix this nasty leak it has! Crossing things off the list feels good

how the jeep was before my ownership

Nice rig. Looked great on it's original leafs. Also looked great on coilovers. Your pic says before rollover and shows both coilovers and leafs... Did you convert prior to flopping it? Did you do the work yourself?

I'd love to stretch, but going full hydro will keep it off the street, and I love driving my junk all the time!

I bought it with the 4link etc done, and then rolled it about a year later. Then I had a friend who owned a shop do the fab work, my skills are not on his level even remotely. And whoever did the previous work did some booty fab so we cut it all out and he had a decent amount of creative freedom.

I wish this thing was streetable, might sell it so i can get a built Rubicon Jk or Nice LJ. Miss being able to drive stuff around

Since I'm played up from ankle surgery i'm gonna go over a few more projects that have been in the garage.

First is a jet Ski trailer I bought so my brother and I could haul our Stand-ups to florida and back or on long trips because I just have a hitch hauler for the Superjet. built this thing in like 7-8 days before a trip, still need to modify some more things and fix some stuff.

Bought a trailer off CL it and immediately cut off old brackets and took it to the blaster... where they discovered someones had covered rust with bondo so had to cut everything out.

ended up adding a walkway between the ski's which needs to be reinforced. Would have been almost easier to just build one from scratch but I might still be up for that. Planning on adding a drop axle so it gets the ski's lower and don't have to back in so deep. It done about 6 trips to the beach for some free riding and the toolbox and expenaded metal tray I added are so useful. Its been a fun trailer

2nd project that I split between my house and my parents garage was my Duck/fishing boat I had for a little while. Had someone local build me the deck and the switch panel housing because I haven't messed with aluminum. It was a really fun little boat, 1651 Tunnel hull Xpress with a 60 that ran about 42 on GPS with just me in it which was fun. Factory float pods, gun locker, built in fuel cell etc
