Lots of glue on clearance, Elmers, Devcon, Dap, Locktite, Gorilla,crazy glue. To many to list.

With the tool reset we had a huge rack of clearance tools, blades, etc. Stuff was going fast. A little tip, put the Lowe's app in your phone and use the scan option to check prices. There was so much we didn't mark stuff down so the prices pm it weren't correct. The scanned price will be. Jim

I have found clearance prices are only 50/50 updated on the app. I use the app all the time as a lot of items seem to be missing price tags. When I have someone scan item with a store scanner the price is different. I use the Lowes app scanner almost every time i'm in store and I go to about 4 different Lowes that are close to me

The last excuse I got from customer service was they don’t ship clearance items. Interesting because I just received a different item on clearance from a different order.

My all time favorite excuse is " that's a non stock item" In which I reply.. so what, all that means is you won't be getting anymore in. It doesn't mean you don't have it in the store? I love it when they get that perplexed look on their face, when I show up with the item they just told me they don't have!

Same thing up in NH. There were a couple carts full of stuff from the Craftsman reset, but everything was barely on sale.

This particular store had several items that the decimal point was moved to the left
on the website. The fertilizer was at 12.00 for the last month, today 1.20.
Fan was 108.10 ( normally 340.00) today 10.81.
Picked up several other electrical and hardware items . Over 900.00 worth of product for $32.00. Needless to say it was a great day!

Personally, I partly agree with him. I stay away from almost all Irwin, the now old German NWS pliers are obviously good but maybe overpriced MSRP. Irwin Marples is generally good...I wouldn't stay away from that Dado set at a clearance price but at retail, I'd get the entry level Frued blade set.

Keep in mind that not all 10" table saws can use a 8" Dado. My 15A, 10" Ridgid recommends a 6" Dado.

Every Irwin product I bought had some kind of flaw with it.
Was it usable? Yes.
Was it 100% reliable/usable? No.
Would I buy that product again knowing what I know after using it? No, I would not buy it again.

That has been my experience.

The Irwin dado stack is made in Italy, probably by Freud.
