This evening was my sixth time that I got to verify that I was still willing to wait on my orders. The amazing thing is that there are literally 100's of them in all directions within 40 miles of my place and they can't arrange an in store pick up for me, they have to be shipped. If I pick them up, I would have to pay the price that the local store is asking witch is more to way more that 75% off that I ordered them delivered at.

My four snow brooms did arrive yesterday delivered in two different boxes, three in one and one in another. There were literally 100's of them available locally too... 28 at my closest store.

Maybe they figured out they were selling and shipping items for less than the cost of the box. It's nice to gets some deals but if they go broke in the process where does that get them or us.
Lowes had $68B in revenue last year. I'm sure they'll be fine unless they somehow sell every single item in store at a loss.

Snagged a couple ice scrapers for pickup. Hopefully they find them. I've had one of the truetemper scraper/brushes for about 6-7 years and I love it. The foam brush works better and is gentler on paint.

I've noticed that pops up on a lot of clearance items. Some that even had stock at local stores (that would show qty on the pop-up of local stores). I think it's just a coding quirk of the website as they have been "upgrading" it with new features this past year...
I too got the delayed email, was about 4 days after placing the order.
I was starting to think they were never coming, but then received the shipping email.
Took about 10 days to get them from time of order but that’s ok with me.

I've used these kits for temporary repair in older homes until the weather cooperates prior to full window or door replacement. Reduces the draftiness but thats about it which does make a difference. @3.14 it could be part of an emergency repair kit during a storm.

You might be surprised at the difference just stopping drafts actually makes. I certainly was.
Correct. I used them on the bedroom windows on my home and one can definitely feel the difference. Our home was built in '68 and the windows are original. Unfortunately I don't have $22k to replace them so two boxes of the window seal does wonders in the winter months.

Not to start a discussion, but just wanted to ask a clearance question. Lowe’s is obviously phasing out some kobalt stuff. I’m interested in their 10” sliding miter saw that was “new lower price” for $199 a couple weeks ago, now back up to $229 (first of all I thought new lower price would stay that way because it gave no “until date”)... But how do we know if it’ll go clearance? It doesn’t show up in the app or online anymore but it’s till in stock at full price. I know back in the day when stuff was pulled from the site but still in storenitd be clearance, but I thought that was HD

Comparing Lowes to HD is apples and oranges. When it comes to Lowes,
there is no set pattern per say. Prices are all over the map and can change in a moments notice. I bookmark items I'm interested in and check them every day.
