Any particular reason you went with clear tackle organizers instead of these? Just curious

I was raised with hundreds of those tackle Plano boxes everywhere,I tried using them for awhile

That's what we use to use when I worked in a shop and I have just stuck with them since I had a bunch of them. They are also half the price.

Made a new bracket for my trailer light plug socket. The old one was toast.

I made a full set of chalks and cribbing for jacking up our vehicles. Painted the ends hoping it would slow the checking but it seems it hasn't, had a few cracks here and there so dabbed some more paint on them.

gassed up the riding mower, pressure washer and filled up the empty 2stroke gas can. dumped the remaining gallon or so of gas into my truck.

cut the grass, weedeated, blew grass clippings and leaves, filled in a hole next to the garage service door where i pulled some cracked concrete up a couple weeks ago.


went back in the house, unpacked all my shooting gear from yesterday's USPSA match, and started getting ready for next saturdays rimfire steel match.
i'll probably load up primer tubes, and crank out another 500 rds for my open pistol, and take inventory on ammo.

Been having some issues with the back up sensors on my truck. I ordered four new ones off EBay and put them in today. If these start to fail, I'll use the old ones to help trouble shoot in the future.

Changed the rear pads and rotors on my mountaineer. Did the entire job with my 3/8 M12 stubby other than one 3/8 wrench for the bleeder screws. Then I'm sure I pissed off the entire neighborhood bedding in the pads. It's open headers at the moment so I doubt many people were happy about me getting in and out of the throttle driving around the neighborhood for about 10 minutes.

Spent all day in ATV club meetings - my wife can't understand how I can do it all week and end up repeating it on the weekend! In the one born every minute category, I took on an additional role as VP so my administration skills can be used for evil & not good

Started deconstructing these "flowers" so they can be hung on the deck.

Just changed oil in my sons car for the first time since he got it. Showed him how - told him the next time he will be doing it and I'll look over his shoulder.

Mowed the back half of the yard that wasn't still flooded, got the small chain saw out and cleaned up a bit, back flushed the geo thermal dump so the drain pipe carries the water to the edge of the property.

Removed the timer auto drain mechanism on the air compressor. $100 waster, went back to a manual drain and changed oil in the compressor.

Painted a shallow super for my bees to add a top feeder.

It all started by watching my son sing at church this morning. It was a good day.

Worked some on my Harley. Cleaned up the battery mounting bracket, then cut and installed new rubber pads before reinstalling the battery. Also replaced a couple of terminal connectors on the Bosch regulator. Then checked for power to ignition switch and kill switch and tested the lights and horn. Good to go.

Started repainting the raised lettering on the Avon Speedmaster tires side walls with a white paint pen. After that it was on to a little more polishing on the motor side covers with Semi-Chrome.

Unloaded the project van after its inaugural Camping trip. It did well! Mileage wasn't what I'd hoped but that was about all for negative. A bit over 300 miles and two hours of that was mountain and dirt roads.

Bought a set of wheels for the Jeep. Low backspace 16, exactly what I need. Unfortunately they came with a set of Uniroyal liberators from 2006, too old to be any good. Dismounted all 5 of those. Swapped one tire from the old wheel to one of the new ones, got tired. Since I was in tire mode, I dismounted a few more junk tires on wheels for free tire day at the dump. Then mounted up the fullsize spare for my pickup.

And did some work on the Jeep. Organized my mobile tools for my PA trip. Oil change on the free lawnmower.

Haven't done much in the way of anything since March 12. That's the day I was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma in my left kidney. Now getting chemo to shrink the tumor so surgery can be performed. Came up all of a sudden due to a CT scan that my cardiologist ordered to find out why I was vomiting so much. Vomiting was due to the pain meds for my back. The kidney thing was a total surprize to everyone. Urologist told me he usually sees this in smokers. I haven't smoked in 50 years.
So haven't been making any sawdust lately. In the midst of two projects (drawers & cabinets). Oncologist said not to use any power tools or sharp instruments, so my bride (of 49 years) is keeping close tabs on me. Picked up a cordless drill and caught heck. Was going to screw a cabinet body together and was told by my bride that screws are sharp and to stop. Peace is more precious that arguing. The chemo really tires me out. Went out to the garage the other day to sort some lumber and lasted about 15 minutes. Son-in-law has been a big help around the house, of course he and my daughter have their own place to care for.

Took apart a 1946 RCA Victor radio I picked up a few months ago.
Started cleaning the case, glass and repainted the backing behind the glass.
Need to get someone to check out the components.

Anyone have an idea on the best way to bring some life back into the plastic cabinet?

I just went through this too. Had read somewhere to put something reflective near where they keep trying to build the nest.

I have a crumpled piece of aluminum foil hanging right where they kept going. Haven't had to pull a nest down in a couple weeks.

Sawdustmaker, there's a reason they are called our "Better Half." Do as she says or she'll turn you in to the Oncologist and that could mean a black mark on your permanent record. According to my Internet Witch Doctor pain meds can also trigger a Renal Cell Carcinoma. I wish I could offer more than hopes and prayers but at least my invisible friend now knows about you. You might want to try your community library for DVDs more to your liking. Dying of boredom is really rare but it is often caused by the TV.

If the Oncologist didn't mention keyboards and cameras, why don't you kill, I mean spend some time creating a Garage Gallery thread. Sharing your garage/workshop and projects can **** up, er, fill up a lot of your free time. That way we can take your mind off the cancer with annoying questions and dumb ideas -- I am sure I have lots of both.

My wife's 2013 Sienna has been a good car and is nearly at 100,000 miles. Other than routine maintenance, I have had to do very little else to the car. The one weakness in the Sienna is the AC/heater blower motor. Toyota replaced one under warranty. It started vibrating again a while back so I finally replaced it today. I haven't always had a garage to work in however I appreciate having one now.

Strange, that's what usually kills them. I've had 1 or 2 that still worked after I removed the leaves, but usually it shakes them apart.
