My closest store showed 64 at regular price. When I checked it was $1.35 and they only had three.

Were these available to be shipped? I'm still in awe how quickly they disappeared at my stores... Only thing I can think of is if they were fulfilling online shipping orders...

When I look up some of these tool sets, they don't show a sale price and show this message "Due to local prohibitions, this item is not currently sold in your area."

Anyone else see that? What "prohibitions" would make Lowes unable to sell specific tools in Arizona?

Don't know, but I check two different stores in the same town. One had that message and the other had full price. This was on a different item a few days ago though. I figure they're trying to weed out folks getting clearance items shipped.

Part of its due to the large volume of clearanced Kobalt tools and it’s all dependent on when your local stores are scheduled for the craftsman reset, also these tools are poorly marked in store for these clearance prices many will show full price in store still

The PA store has shipping available for me at $1.58 price.

When I look up some of these tool sets, they don't show a sale price and show this message "Due to local prohibitions, this item is not currently sold in your area."

Anyone else see that? What "prohibitions" would make Lowes unable to sell specific tools in Arizona?

It's not really prohibited... It's just a coding error in their system... Typically this pops up when the item is being phased out... Sometimes you can still find stores with stock when you click "check other stores", but then on the page you still get that stupid error. You may or may not be able to find said item in the store.
