HF 44" Series 2 Toolbox How long did you wait

I purchased a 44" series 2 HF box in blue via their presale 5 weeks ago, yes 5 weeks and its still not here. I'm at the point where I'm past caring due to how long its taking and am not even excited to get it anymore... How long did it take you guys to get yours? I was told 2-3 weeks when i ordered.

My 44 in Orange top and bottom came in approximately 3 weeks from my pre-order. It took about 3 weeks more for the side lockers boxes to come and they were all ordered together Our local store said 19 tool box related times came in on this week's truck.

I pre-ordered my 44 bottom cab in blue March 7 when they had the $399.00 coupon/sale.
It was April 25 when it finally came in. I was told 2 weeks initially.

Ordered a black and a blue online, paid for delivery + shipping costs, got delivered within a week of placing the order. Actually I think it was about three days.

I want a green 44", local store told me 2-4 weeks but that they usually get special orders within ten days.

I thought about doing this but I was scared of getting hit with a potential liftgate charge of up to $250 on top of the standard shipping costs. The phone rep mentioned that it's all up to the freight company and they couldn't give me a definite number beforehand.

I ended up finding a blue 44" cabinet and top chest locally and rented a U-Haul instead. It ended up working out in the end, but had there been no liftgate charge I gladly would have paid for shipping and avoided all the hassle.

I was shopping for mine back in January in my local store. All they had at the time was blue and black. Took about 3 or 4 weeks for a red one to show up in the store.

And now I’m having the same issue waiting on the new green low profile extended jack. Chased the store for 3 weeks and gave up and ordered one. 3 weeks later it arrived and was bad out of the box. Had a warped chassis. Had to return it to the store.
I’ve called stores all over my area and 100 miles in each direction and up in NC. No one seems to have these in house.

Said screw it and ordered a blue masterforce from Menards today. Cancelling my presale on Monday from Harbor Freight. Menards told me an expected date 6 days from now, and said theyre super accurate on their expected delivery dates for those boxes. Seems a lot better built, had power strip and usb plug ins, and has griplatch handles. Excited to try it out since I already own 2 other harbor freight boxes. This box is going to my work to be used every day as a machinist, doesn't get too overloaded though as micrometers and calipers dont weigh much LOL

I was waiting on a blue 56" top and bottom which they said the earliest it 'might' be in was June 10th (checked at the end of April). I decided what the heck and went in again yesterday to check and they had a top and bottom blue in stock... I am now the happy owner!

Those Menards boxes are nice. I really like the 36 for my needs, but I could buy a 44 and a 26 from HF for the same money.

The menards box ended up being exactly $100 more which i think is probably worth it.
