I am really liking the looks of the modern style lean to type shops.
I already have my concrete poured for a 28' deep by 32' garage. My question is, how would I go about getting the highest ceiling out of the interior without it being huge looking? How do these trusses/rafters look? Keep in mind, I have a 15' height restriction to the peak. I don't know how this restriction would change if I didn't do a gable style roof with a "peak".

Just kicking around the idea before I order my lumber and see if it is worth it or not.

Thanks for any ideas

Do you mean a single slope roof? AKA mono pitch or skillion roof?

A 28' span will likely require a truss or beams & purlins. I did a 20' span with I-joists.

There is a build in Canada in the Gallery section that did beams & purlins as I recall. I'll see if I can find the thread.
