Daughter is bring a camper trailer to visit for couple weeks. I know nothing about campers units. Requires a 30 amp breaker. Do I install a single pole 30 amp or dual pole 30 amp in my garage panel?

30A camper are 120v 30A (just so the 50A)...so single pole

the plug is the one with the tab at ~90deg from each other (not parallele or inline)

Many people often get it confused with the dryer outlet, I had a friend with a new camper and he (mistakenly) had a friend make a pigtail so he could hook it up to his dryer and he blew all the fuses in the camper and I think fried something too...

The larger campers will use a 50A 240V plug. But that's not relevant for your situation.

That’s what I’m trying to do now as I just learned there’s a couple different types
Took me 2 weeks to find out what amp this rental trailer required

Agreed, a 30A single pole breaker should not be too hard to find unless it is a obsolete panel.

I just used a plug adapter to plug mine into a 20A circuit. I was just careful not to use the electric water heater and the air conditioner at the same time. For two weeks she can put up with some limits in power usage. She probably already has the adapter, but they aren't hard to find.

Heck I'd tell them to run on batteries but they now BC residents so AC required or they would surely not survive

Its a Cutler Hammer panel so easy enough to get a 30 amp single pole breaker.

My friend's RV runs the AC just fine plugged into a 20A circuit. Haven't tried with the AC and microwave together... that might be too much.

They make a camper disconnect box for that purpoae,might save you time and money.
