Got my first pocket hole jig, debated among the various Kreg options but decided to blow $110 on the K5, from an Amazon warehouse damaged box deal. Ordered a clamp separately, need to get some 2.5" Kreg screws. My first project using it will be a 24x48 x 64" high storage shelf on casters, using 2x4's. 4 OSB shelves from one 4x8 sheet, that can fit two storage bins (at least) per shelf.

Haro, I would proceed with caution. Every Motion Pro product I've ever tried was a complete let down. I imagine a simple check valve is hard to mess up, but my experience with their products has only been bad.

Scored both a Sunex 42 piece sae/metric 3/8 impact socket set on a prime day lightning deal for $44.06 and the 43 piece metric 1/2 impact set for $85.41. Both I had been wanting for some time to replace my Harbor Freight Pittsburgh Pros. The 3/8 set I caught on the lightning deal with just 6 seconds left on it lol. Now I’m just keeping my eye out for the 43 piece sae 1/2 impact set if/when it goes on sale. The quality of the Sunex stuff is excellent.

Its my first tool from them. If it dont work Im out $15..hard to justify buying a professional kit with all adapters for $300+

These arrived today, and I was super impressed. 3018002B: 29 Piece 8% Cobalt drill set ... but made in the USA, stamped right on the drills themselves. I wonder if this is Hanson.

I am a bit jealous, mine have not come in yet. They are rolling the colors out very slowly and it seems to be a regional thing as well.
yeah seems west coast got this round , he also had the new 1/2 snappy impact that they say is beating the 1" milwaukee , i have a video of it where it cant remove a lg the 1/2 just put on. i dont buy it

How much for the jump pack?

the 150 was 169 from 299 . i also got a gb70 for my little truck for a steal

i tried the 150 on a dead battery today , like really dead . first it clicked then i let it sit for 10 min and fired right up . so they do charge a bit also. very impressed with the little one . i work on big trucks so this 150 was a great deal. i just returned one i got on a warehouse deal because it wouldnt take a charge. seems hit or miss on the noco's

I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences on those new snap ring pliers, if you'd be so kind?

so far i like them but not the case, its to big for a field mechanic like me so its going in my mr big. i have the convertables in the small grey case that i have been using . the issue is they dont have some for the bigger snap rings.

I really don't know what I'm going to use this for just yet, but it looked too cool to pass up. It's a Urrea 3/4" drive dial torque wrench. Can be used in either direction and has the blue needle to indicate the maximum torque reached.

Nice knowing that I can now measure any torque I'm likely to encounter, up to 600 ft lbs. It's much larger than my CDI 1/2" drive torque wrench. Made in USA from US and German parts.

Nupla 16oz dead blow hammer, Vaughn 20oz rubber mallet, and a Performance Tool magnetic parts tray. All great deals from Prime Day. Also picked up some peg board hooks, as well.

Warrantied a terminal tool with my MAC guy today, and ended up with a couple extras... getting ready to pull the trans on our Camaro for rebuild so the seal spoons will come in handy, and I’ve been wanting a longer handle 3/8 ratchet. The Axis rats felt nice, and I went for it; see how it holds up.

8500 Watt 16HP V-Twin Vanguard Generator that I picked up back on the 4th. Starts first pull, and came with a new battery. Had to crank up the voltage quite a bit, though.

Should comfortably run the A/C. Low hours, formerly owned by the Lake County Sheriff's Dept. The company that made the power head was bought by Baldor.

New release Tekton 1/2" 6PT metric sets to replace my sloppy, old USA CMan 12PT sets. Very high quality sets. So much nicer than the Gearwrench sets I got in 1/4" and 3/8". Tried them on a few old bolts laying around and they are nice and tight. Tekton is really winning me over with the quality they offer for the price. Picked up more of the bungees after giving the first ones I bought to my dad because they are so nice as well.

I was surprised at how affordable these Wilde long taper punches were. The 5 pc. set is a savings of like $8ish versus buying them individually (which is still not much). $19.99 is the normal price for the 5 pc. set.

They are laser etched, which will wear off. Totally acceptable at this price point. I like the finish, it is a grippy matte. The 1/4" punch (largest) is 11" long, made of 5/8 hex bar. The 1/8" punch (smallest) is 8" long, made of 3/8 hex bar. The 5/32", 3/16", and 7/32" are all made of 1/2 hex bar.

Yes they are. Well made and look great. These torque wrenches will be VERY well taken care of. As they no longer make them.
Oh, my half inch is the digital Armstrong torque wrench.

https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=7940337&postcount=47571

You can see it in that post there.

Tore the 60T guts out of there and put in 88T guts. So now its an 88T version. :p

I'm not sold on the digital torque wrench phenomenon yet. I personally think the click style were a great invention as I like the feeling and feedback you get with them anyway. I picked that one up used when I built a motor a few years back and really need to find the 3/8th and 1/4 versions like you have to go with it instead of the several different brands I currently have. You get them on Ebay or somewhere else?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/233243720436 Is the guy I bought the 3/8" version from. Great guy, packages well.. ships via USPS 2 day usually.

1/4" drive I bought from a seller in AZ.. New, never used. Only had one.

Lately I have run into a few instances where I wished I owned some semi-deep sockets. I wasn’t interested in overpaying for a set of Snap On. Realized that both Wright Tools and SK do not make chrome semi-deep but discovered the standard SK deep sockets are significantly shorter than your typical deep sockets. The picture below shows a few of the sizes I purchased. The socket on the right is a 10mm USA Craftsman. I am quite satisfied with the SK. Quality is perfect and the value is excellent.

New to me today, basically NOS 5pc. Vise Grips! Happy to give $20 for these. 5af0e812b07d462cd43ef4b73627bf65.jpgAlso got this hammered finish Waterloo toolbox from the same seller. My wife spotted it on the garage floor in the sellers pics and let me know she liked it. For $20 I couldn't go wrong.a4d3f5e54e9f59022315a5fd8a5e25bb.jpg

Prime day deal - Hakko micro cutters ($4). I read some good things about these and wanted to try them out.
