This weekend I didn't have much time for garage sales. I had some things to do Thursday and Saturday. Friday after 10 AM was taken up taking my son to the airport to return to college. Traffic was horrible and it took twice as long to get to the airport as usual. We had planned a leisurely meal along the way - NOT!!!
Friday morning there were only a few sales advertised locally, and the first two were complete busts!

On the way back from a rural swing, I passed a TOO that produced the following for $1.50 total (photo 1):
1" dia. by 7" long brass drift
Petersen 7CR vise grips
Williams 3/4 Superrench combo
The next stop was advertised as a "4 family" sale. It had only one thing that I desired, a metal tap and drill chart, which was unpriced. The woman went into the house to get her husband to price it. When we talked price, I asked it he had any tools for sale. He thought a little bit and replied "I think I have some I could sell." We entered the garage and he pulled aside a blue tarp to get at some things, and asked if I welded. I said yes, an out came the welding clamps. We kept going and ended up with the items in the rest of the photos. He didn't want to start digging in tool boxes, but invited me back for a private showing!
