Hi Folks,
About 20 years ago my wife 'Kim' and I purchased an old gas station in Fayetteville. It was originally a Sinclair station but had beed several other brands of gas stations plus a tire change shop. When we got it, it was pretty ratty and needed a lot of work. The plan was to make it a shop for my hobby of fixing up old cars. The pic below is one of the first taken after we purchased the property and it shows the beginning of what will follow.

We are glad to be here and a big shout out to our buddies Grizz and Dennis for sending us your way.

Cool as Hell.....

I would like to have my house right next door, otherwise I'd be worried about theft. Good luck with it!!!!

Please. Share your journey with us during your station rebuild

There are a couple of Others who have documented their stations as they go along.

Did you get lucky and have the previous owners pay for the gas tank removal and cleanup?

New Guy here. What size pics are best so they won't go to thumbnails? Any info will help so I can start a thread about the shop.

Thanks, Clemdaddy

Clem, welcome to the GJ.

Since this particular sub-forum is for new members to say "hi", you might want to start a thread in Garage Gallery for the station project.

Again, welcome!!!

Welcome from MN!

My uncle owned a Sinclair station on Hwy 52 in Rochester MN years ago. Looking forward to watching this project.

Watch for Dino!
