Antique Plomb Sidecutter Pliers

Made by Plomb in 1949 at the former J.P. Danielson factory.

Because I have wasted my time studying things like that instead of doing something more productive with my life!

Seriously, the keys are the dual-marking, which only occurred from January 1949 through February 1950 in an effort to appease Plumb, which was suing Plomb, and the herringbone grip. The herringbone grip isn't really needed for ID, but that is classic J.P. Danielson, which was acquired by Plomb in 1947, ditching their long-time supplier Utica.
