I purchased a 75k Hot Dawg heater for my pole barn and am looking for recommendations on the best way to hang it from my vaulted ceilings. My barn has scissor trusses and is finished with white liner panel. I don’t have an access to get into the attic “no room to crawl around up there anyways”. My trues sea are 24” OC. The heater is going in the corner of the shop mounted on an angle blowing diagonally across the shop. I’m not sure what the best way to mount heater on an angle with the vaulted ceiling. Thanks for any recom

Mount two unistruts perpendicular to your trusses which are 24” on center. Hang threaded rod from the unistrut, one on each end for a total of four points, and hang the heater from the threaded rod.

Or bolt the heater right to the unistrut. Depends how low off the ceiling you want the heater.

Edited to add..
You know, i reread your post. Vaulted ceilings. None of this will work. Lemme think on this.

You have a pic of the ceiling?

I wish it was that easy lol I attached a picture of the garage. Planning on the heater in the left hand corner

What about making a right angle triangle shelf right in the corner? I'm sure you could make it out of angle iron or something similar. You might need to cushion the heater to cut down on vibration, depending on how balanced that fan is.

You can still use Unistrut, etc. Just bend the threaded rods to match the angle.

Awesome garage. Super jelly.

I see no problem using unisrut and threaded rod. The pitch is very soft. I’m sure you can find where your trusses are. Lag the unistrut perpendicular to the trusses, use spring nuts and threaded rod of various lengths to level the heater, and bolt the heater to the thread rod.

With the heater going to be placed at an angle blowing diagonally across the shop, I wouldn’t be hitting a truss every anchor point. That’s another delema not being able to access the attic for blocking

I think I’m going to go with a wall mount option. Rather than suspended from the ceiling. Going to copy a mount along the lines of this

Be a little worried about vibration and noise from the fan. When mine kicks on I can feel it on the floor upstairs.

I had a similar situation; vaulted ceiling finished with drywall. I mounted angle iron on each wall of that corner and spanned 1 1/2" square tubing across. Made brackets to attach to Reznor 45K unit. Painted everything white to blend in. Tested strong enough to hold my weight before I attached the heater.

Here's my vaulted ceiling mounted Hot Dawg.
Maybe it will offer some ideas?

Unistruts running perpendicular and lagged to 3 collar ties, then threaded rod to hang the heater.

pic of the rafters and collar ties prior to drywall.
