Hi, guys.
I'm Just Gary from Fairfax, VA.
I've been a hotrod/motorcycle guy since age 14 and by extension, have spent a lot of my life in the garage.

I've been a HAMBer since 2002 but only recently started lurking here.

My 2-car "garage-mahal" contains a Hemi-powered '28 Ford, my workbench, welder & drillpress, my wife's minivan, and a bunch of bikes.

Here's a pic:

Welcome from Berryville, Virginia (its still northern Virginia, but just not as crowded as Fairfax).
I tried the HAMB, and enjoyed it for a short while. But they are really strict about that arbitrary 1964 cutoff date for the cars you can post about, and they get nasty if you stray into '65, '66, or '67 territory.

Thanks, guys.

Jim, I've spent a fair amount of time in Berryville; with OJ at Clarke Co Speedshop.:)

I have stopped in to chat with OJ several times, but he's never worked on any of my cars. I know he's really good at what he does, and its always interesting to peer into his shop to see what he's got in there when I drive by.

Welcome Just Gary!

I grew up in Fairfax City over by the Army Navy Country Club (1964 - 1985) in the Country Club Hills community. Graduated from Fairfax High in 1981 and started kindergarten just down the street on Old Lee Highway across from Saint Leo's. Currently live in Warrenton.

Looks like a nice project! Especially the Hemi aspect (I am a Mopar fan, hence the 4406 meaning 440-6..). I am into Plymouth Cuda's.

This place is my favorite web hangout. Very talented and giving group here.

Warning - mission creep is huge after joining here. Tools I never imagined suddenly were mandatory..

Larry, what color is your 440 6 pack Cuda? 70 or 71? I'm thinking I should know that car. I have a buddy in Warrenton with a 70 Challenger with a 440 six pack (originally a 383), and a buddy in Stafford with a 340 six pack AAR Cuda.

Man I wish!

Neither car is road worthy. I have a 71 barracuda vert I’m cloning to a ‘Cuda (440-6, 4spd, shaker, Dana) and a ‘72 ‘Cuda. The 72 was damaged by a falling tree.

Gary and Larry. Good luck with your Hemi and 440 six pack projects. My current projects are a 68 Charger that should come home from the body shop soon (and will need some reassembly), and a 67 Plymouth Belvedere wagon that is being readied for a trip to the body shop soon.

I'm not planning on going, but there is a Mopar show on Sunday morning October 6th at the Chrysler Dodge dealer on RT 29 in Culpepper. Its always a good show. Its put on by Rappahannock Mopar Club.
