I've outgrown my single bay Matco rollaway, and am looking at getting a bigger box. Snap-On and Matco are outside my budget (My current one was issued to me as part of an apprentice program), but I don't want Craftsman seeing as their current lineup is too flimsy for me.

I was looking at the offerings from Montezuma and Extreme Toolboxes, and while I like them, the drawer configurations aren't quite what I'm looking for. Plus I don't absolutely need a 72 inch box.

I saw this 56" box from Mountain, and I like the drawer config, and the price is reasonable. The specs sound similar to Montezuma and Extreme, as well.

56" Mountain Rollaway

I am also planning on augmenting it with a service cart on one side, as I love having a fliptop storage area for all my most-used tools. Most of my work is lube and electrical, so I basically just use twenty tools for every car that comes in.

Anyone have any experience with Mountain's offerings, and would you recommend one of their boxes?

I have the 72" version and love it!! I've already outgrown it but, hey that's how it goes. Excellent quality for the price. Only complaint is the drawer detents are a little stiff when new. Once the detents wear in there nice and smooth... Other than that:thumbup:

No Mountian is made by ISN.

Montezuma makes boxes for a lot of people but Mountain is not one of them.

Would ISN be "Integrated Supply Network"? The reason I ask is I'm looking for a top box and have seen the "Viper SS" top box and their identical to my bottom. Serching for the manufacturer yielded me no results...

Yes ISN is Integrated Supply. However they are not affiliated with Viper. Mountain has not plans on producing a top chest. They had one displayed at their trade show 2 years ago but never produced it.

Montezuma makes a top chest that fits.

You just need to remove the 4 small metal tabs on top of your cabinet that hold the mat in place.
