Must be 7 only. The thread in question really has lots of conversation about the 519x series of vises in general. The vise for sale that I posted a link to was not a 5198 but if I'm remember correctly was a 5197. It was a highly spiffed up and polished version of the 519x series and at the time I thought others would enjoy seeing it. Sorry for the confusion.

than the jacklegs that would do that to a top of the line vise.---And You would think that if anybody could locate parts for a Craftsman vise, Sears could.---Kind of explains a lot.
