Whats a good Ultrasonic cleaner with about 6L capacity that isnt Harbor Freight?

Not necessarily wanting digital controls, manual controls are fine and easily replaced which might be an issue on the cheaper imports.

Want the most sonic power and highest power heater possible. Intended use is carbs plus other small engine cleaning

Originally was wanting a Crest P500 but the budget isnt there for that now.

Ive read a few good reviews on the ZOKOP 6L. What other options are there?

Bonus points for something that ships from Canada, brokerage fees are a killer.

I'd get this one if you're on a budget. It comes with a 300 watt heater. Most of the digital units only have a 200 watt heater which is really wimpy. I have this exact unit as a backup to my Elmasonic P120H and it's pretty decent. It has 3 ultrasonic transducers and appears pretty well built.

I believe most of these Chinese ultrasonic cleaners are made by Beijing Ultrasonics and relabeled.

Look on ebay, amazon.. theres a model thats sold all over the place that seems to get good reviews. Looks like all stainless steel.

Yeah there seems to be a common design look to the digital ones for sure..

Wonder if any one of them might have better parts than the other? Some are considerably more money than the others, not that that means anything!

Yeah thats the one Ive seen described as a "Zokop" brand. Youve been pretty happy with yours then? How is it for power ? Notice much difference between it and the Elma?

Yea, my Elma has a 1000 watt heater, 360 watts of ultrasonic power, dual frequency and has a 3.2 gallon tank. It comes up to temp and cleans very quickly. However it cost way more then the unit in my earlier image.

That Zokop 6L unit is far better then the "toy" unit sold at HF and really isn't too bad for around $100. I took it apart and it's pretty well built. It's stainless steel tank is the same thickness as my Elma unit and it includes a basket. I was pleasantly surprised with what you get for around $100. I'd say it's the "sweet spot" for small affordable US cleaners.

It passes the aluminum foil test with flying colors but it is pretty noisy.

I think the traditional ultrasonic cleaner brands like Elma, L&R, Crest and Branson are getting taken over by the low cost units from Beijing.

Look at Mettler Electonics I have one of their units. Works great. They have been providing units to the medical field for years. Look at used medical equipment dealers also

P.S. Here's a killer deal on a German Elmasonic US cleaner that sells for close to $3000 new. However at 7.5 gallons it takes up a lot of bench space.

Seller claims it has a small dent and broken plastic feet but otherwise new.

Make him an offer. Nothing to loose since the seller makes the claim that it's fully functional.

Thats a heck of a deal for someone. Probably not me though. I couldnt make him a reasonable offer plus i dont think I want to put several hundred into an electronic device which took a hit as hard as that one appears to have had.

After several months of looking at used USA made commercial units that look like they were salvaged from a war zone I gave up and got a China made Zokop 410ht. Outside of the expected noise level I am very happy with it after a year of use. BTW, I used top tier commercial units at work so I know how good they are compared to Chinese units.

Damn. If I'd found that before buying mine...

I have an ebay special, the one with the two digital control that several youtubers use as well.

It works. A frequent complaint is that the power switch in the back is **** and that is 101% accurate. The solution, obviously, is not to use it and to cut power by pulling the plug. There are several sizes which are, at the end of the day, equivalent except for the obvious.

This is the guy, I have the 15 lt version (~4 gallons) and ... see above.
