Who makes Husky tools? Meaning who is the manufacturer (Not Home Depot). I'm guessing a Chinese or Tiawan company. How do I find that information out? I've hit a brick wall with this.
Thanks
Thanks
Vanapplebomb,
Does that mean air nailers as well as compressors?

...if a nail gun is something that you use with any frequency I would not hesitate to recommend a new Hitachi
Apex makes most of the Handtools today.
2007 would have most likely still been made by Stanley.
Thanks. My notes (without supporting citation) say that current Husky hand tools are a cheaper brand of (made by?) GearWrench or Apex. Do you have a citation?
This was my post from the other day (there's pictures attached to the original post)
I have a Husky pneumatic framing nailer. I know it's not the greatest, but it's given me years of great service. Recently a gasket went inside it. I'm having a hell of a time replacing it as it's a discontinued gun. The model number is HDN21901 and the potential model number is DK828700AV 03/07. I'm guessing it was made in 2007. My question is this.... was this gun a knock off of another gun? Meaning that it was the same gun manufactured by someone else and just the "Husky" name put on it? That way I could potentially find the other brand and use the same parts. Other question would be..... did follow up guns use the same internal parts and just change the exterior appearance? Any clues or insight would be appreciated.
