You sir, are a busy man. Für Ihre Gesundheit!

Your house has turned out beautiful! I've been following along on your build from the beginning and I hope you are enjoying the move in, even though it's a ton of work. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks all for your kind words. There's still so much to do, especially in the workshop / Garage area, so stay tuned if you're in for more :)

Time for a much overdue update. Thinks have settled a bit here and all the basic stuff is working. Landscaping is still going on but should be done within the next two weeks. now it's about to set up all the details, etc.

So, landscapers have been busy making a walkway to the house, so we can use the main entrance door now :)
P1250840-Kopie.jpg

It's almost completed, and you can see the outside lighting, Mailbox and temporary fence (made out of sheep fences *lol*) i installed last week as well (more lighting to come)
WhatsApp-Image-2019-08-07-at-20.46.461-Kopie.jpeg

The path continues into the attached shed which is now almost done as well.
WhatsApp-Image-2019-08-07-at-20.46.46-Kopie.jpeg

I completed the installation of our garden watering system:
P1250874-Kopie.jpg

We got our ceramic terrace tiles deliverd
P1250878-Kopie.jpg

And the gardening guys prepared the terrace area with some "light" concrete for the tiles:
WhatsApp-Image-2019-08-07-at-20.46.47-Kopie.jpeg

P1250880-Kopie.jpg

For my "industrial" themed office, i reworked some old barn-lamps and resprayed them to have a fitting colour theme:
P1250875-Kopie.jpg

Ended out great if you ask me :)
P1250886-Kopie.jpg

Also made courtain rail from some old cast-iron heating tubes:
P1250887-Kopie.jpg

Also sanded down our neighbours old dining table which we got for free and etched it in the same colour as the floor, so it does match better. It's not perfect but i like the imperfections somehow:
P1250889-Kopie.jpg

Now that the basic office is set up and most of the living area space is more or less done (still a ton of details to finish and set up), i finally found some time today to start to set up the workshop and garage area...

First i hung up the soap dispenser, mirror and broom:
P1250881-Kopie.jpg

I managed to make the two workbenches into one big one with three leg-pairs. Since i got one extra, i have a set of legs left-over now :)
P1250882-Kopie.jpg

My father-in-law had an old workbench tabletop leftover in his barn. so i will cut it smaller and make a soldering and electronic workshop table out of it. Brilliant. Also need to sand it down and oil it with linseed oil for better protection and to have the same looks as the other workbenches. So far so good. still have the whole day tomorrow and today evening to get some more work done...

Forgot to post these: Last week also the Insulation specialist showed up, to wrap the free-hanging heating pipes with thermal insulation between the actual heater, warmwater-boiler (heated by the heater) and the floor heating system.

The pictures you see here don't show the finnished setup, but you get the idea:

So, things are slowly starting to work out :) Yesterday i managed to get my soldering table done. Cut that old workbench tabletop into shape and mounted the legs:
DSC_3615-Kopie.jpg

Sanded everything down
DSC_3616-Kopie.jpg

And then had it painted with linseed oil again. It's not perfect, but quite satisfied with the end results :) Also had an old smoke-filter ventilation lamp installed which i got form my job where we had a new, more industrial typ smoke filter installed (pretty useful to filter the air when soldering old stuff which contains unhealthy lead)
DSC_3620-Kopie.jpg

Still need to set up the tools and clean everything, but so far - so good :)

Not that much to show you. i've ben focusing on getting the living area done, which is now nearing completion. I mean i would have completed it today, but then the TV requires a 9mm Concrete drill bit to hang it on the wall. who the hell ever used a 9mm drill bit? Need to get one tomorrow, before i can set up the tv-corner :)

The landscaping guys / gardeners work very slow but at least the results are nice:
P1250908-Kopie.jpg

I built myself a set of nice dining table lamps out of some old shed lamps, a set of new brass bulb housings and oldschool textile wire. pretty happy with the result.
P1250915-Kopie.jpg

P1250934-Kopie.jpg

I built a movable shelving system in the small kitchen compartment room. now just waiting for the carpenter to complete the planks that will be mouned there:
P1250921-Kopie.jpg

And something more garage related: I installed Water-sensors in all the important areas (garage, workshop, technical compartment, cleaning room, kitchen, etc..) so it will give me an immediate alarm in case of water leakage :)

Ha! I recognize those lamp parts. I've built our kitchen light using parts from creative cables as well.
I thinking about using their mason jar kit for a mason jar "chandelier" in the hallway. Basically it'll be 3 mason jars bundled together as one light fixture.

It's really coming together! Lovely looking place.

Thanks mate. still so much to do :)

Those guys at creative cables have some funky stuff.
I built another "chandelier" with 5 oldschool filament bulbs (without any shades) with their stuff as well for the master bedroom :)

Currently i'm focussing on getting the programming sorted out. not so easy when someone else wrote the program and you have to sort out things :shocking:

Thanks again for the informative updates, looks like it will be a comfortable Xmas at your place this year!

A couple of questions . . .
Could you please take a close-up photo of how the Landscapers have tiled around the attached-roof support poles. As the poles were placed there first, the tilers have done an excellent and neat job.

Are the external horizontal blinds on the window operated from inside?
Those blinds/shutters are a great idea as you can vary the amount of light/privacy as you wish.

Thanks a lot and sorry for my late reply.
1) The blinds are operated manually from the inside with the same switches that operate the lights. But when we're "out of house" they will operate automatically to let as much light inside (for the plants) but keeping as much direct sunlight outside to prevent the house from heating up. each window is cintrolled individually to the inputs on the weather station on the roof and also the weather forecast. Both tilt of the blinds and how much they are closed is operated by our smarthome system. It's one of the things me and my wife really love so far :)
Here's an example of the Loxone switches. we have programmed them slightly different:
EN_Graphics_the_switch_standard_single_click.png

2) For the hoses, they were able to cut holes into the stones, but since the posts are mounted fix, they just cutout a little piece and added it back after the tiles were installed:
P1250945-Kopie.jpg

So what happened in the meantime?
THe gardeners were busy:
DSC_3632-Kopie.jpg

and finally (sort of) completed the landscaping work:
P1250950-Kopie.jpg

In a few weeks they will mix up the surface soil and add grass seeds.

This gave me a bit of time to dig up some areas and put down the automated watering system including soil moisture measurement sensors, water hoses, and sprinklers:
P1250947-Kopie.jpg

Unfortunately the landscapers trainee messed up some of our walkway stones, so they had to order new ones to replace them, I hope this will be done by tomorrow (they promised that):
P1250943-Kopie.jpg

I've been busy updating the wiring and started to install the IT Infrastructure:
P1250952-Kopie.jpg

And also put hundres of screws into finalizing our shelving system in the storage compartment :)
DSC_3682-Kopie.jpg

In the garage area they fixed the "holes" in the ceiling, still need to paint it:
P1250958-Kopie.jpg

I started to set up my workshop:
P1250954-Kopie.jpg

And moving around things. I hope by this weekend all the gardening stuff can move to the outside shed (once they replaced all the damaged bricks there too) so i have space to move the Honda in there :)
P1250955-Kopie.jpg

And steady but slowly im setting up all the shelves and start to sort all the parts into some final storage area.. takes quite some time, but it's getting better on a weekly base :)

Your place is looking very nice. Soon you'll be able to use that great garage instead of working on it! Interesting to see your Fronius charging unit. Never heard of the company until they introduced their line of compact welding equipment in the USA last Fall among all the youtube welding sites. Seems like a great company; pricey, but packed with features!

I just read this entire thread today. What a beautiful house/garage. I'm so impressed!

Thanks a lot for those nice words :) Still so much to do...
Spending a lot of time at the computer, trying to connect all those smarthome things into our master PLC system. lots of work :p

Yesterday we spent big money at the garden supplying shop and took home our first bunch of plants, which we planted today. Next week another 60 Bushes for the hedge should arrive, so we get a bit more "Privacy", at least once the bushes have grown a bit more :p

I just finished getting up-to-date with this thread. AMAZING WORK! Love it.

Also, good luck with the 240Z build. My Dad used to have a Datsun BRE 510, a car he wishes he never sold. I personally love the 240.

Excellent.
Place looks wonderful,

How high is the ceiling in your lift area?
Thanks a lot guys :) The Ceiling is 3355mm (approx 132 inches) high. It's a tight fit, but i can lift an average station wagon to a hiehgt with a few cm spare between the ceiling and the roof of the car, so i still can stand upright below the car so it fits like a glove. As long as you make sure you move the lift in the correct direction when it's close to the ceiling :spit:

Thanks mate. still much to come, i guess :) Oh wow, was it a real BRE 510? If yes it must be quite valuable these days. I love the 510, it's very rare over here, sold as the "Bluebird 1600")

I wish I could say it was a real BRE, sadly it was not a real BRE. It would be incredible if it was. He put the car together with a group of Datsun specialists around the same time the 510 had so much success in racing. From what I recall, he tore the car down to the unibody and built it back up from there with all relevant BRE parts.

I'd be willing to guess that all the real BRE team cars were not street legal at the time my Dad had his 510.

Still an amazing touring car, along with its rival the Alfa.

I got 2 or 3 pages in... and i spotted a S30z Dashboard.... and i thought to myself... hang on a minute.... i think this guy.... i'm going to like him! YES!

your attention to detail and high level with your build and quality i admire, as i try to aspire to the same greatness. I always say there is no point doing something unless its done to the absolute best standard.

I really enjoy your build, safe to say i have subscribed!

I also am doing a nut and bolt restoration on my 1977 Datsun 260z, and Funny enough, i also am a JDM car nut! i also have a S15 silvia pushing about 350hp, and my daily driver is a XT Forester that im trying to do a STI clone on.

Do you have a build thread for your Z? I am doing a Youtube video blog on my build.

Check out my thread bud, i think you will enjoy the read, we have similar interests with builds and cars!

I'm looking forward to seeing how you deck out your underground bat cave! i love those lista cabinets you have!

Hey Rudi, thanks for the kind words. You're absolutely right. Do the best or let it be :)
I'll have to check out your build thread for sure. Just saw the S15 in your profile pic. one of my absolute favourite cars.
I have my Projects documentend on my website. www.JDMjunkies.ch but you'll also find them on various z-related forums etc...

I hope this weekend i'll find some time go get more stuff done in t he garage, workshop area. still had (and have to) finnish a lot in the living area. that's priority one.

What happened meanwhile: We got a load of 62 plants delivered:
DSC_3742-Kopie.jpg

Me and my wife spent the entire last weekend to plant our hedge from a variety of evergreen bushes:
DSC_3754-Kopie.jpg

Thanks to my father in law who is a former gardener it was a piece of cake to also get the cherry tree in our garden up :)
DSC_3752-Kopie.jpg

Also have a little Juniper tree area for my little private Gin production (but forgot to take pictures)

As long as the weather is warm and nice, i decided to also dig in some hoses for watering and some wires for soil moisture and temperature sensors (all connected to the automation system):
DSC_3767-Kopie.jpg

DSC_3771-Kopie.jpg

Technically i finally got the Photovoltaic system to display the correct production and onsumtion data on our smarthome Display:
Energiemonitor-PV-Fronius-Loxone-Kopie.png

I pulled some Network cables, so now i have LAN at the workshop area:
DSC_3776-Kopie.jpg

And Wifi in the whole house including the whole garage and workshop:
DSC_3775-Kopie.jpg

And while pulling wires, i decided to include some Audio cables as well. Tomorrow something fancy should arrive. A multiroom audio system which can be fully integrated in our smarthome. I'll show you when it's here :) Now need to order an additional cabinet to get space for all the stuff :lol_hitti
DSC_3783-Kopie.jpg

And the most important thing. Finally found some time to clean up one parking lot (at least a bit) so i was able to get my EK9 TypeR from its temporary parking place at my parents place into it's new home. Feels good to have it back in it's new home :)

And yesterday i got the Multiroom audio system for DIN rail mounting, which will deliver sound to the garage / workshop and other areas of the house. It can be extended to 16 zones / rooms:

Soo, i went shopping a bit the last few days :)
First i gifted my self some air tools, like (finally) a rattle gun and an tire filler tool with Manometer:
DSC_3797-Kopie.jpg

I had to test it immediately of course so i removed the Clutch on ye Olde L24 Engine to put her up on the motor stand. MAN i really wonder how on earth i was ever able to pull apart two complete cars and change wheels for many years without the use of the rattle gun? This makes life so much easier and it should have been one of the first tools i should have bought. well, now i know :)
DSC_3800-Kopie.jpg

So while at it i decided to put the engine on the engine stand in order to have it easy accessible and moveable and to save some space. Also it looks much more professional :)
P1260006-Kopie.jpg

Then i got an additional Electrical cabinet delivered:
DSC_3802-Kopie.jpg

So i was able to start setup un the Multiroom audio system for the workshop, garage, and living area.. still a lot of wires missing and this is only the basic and very temporary setup for testing purpose. i will add more modules for more rooms and get the wiring nice later, when everything is running...
DSC_3817-Kopie.jpg

And then i decided i should upgrade my security system as well, so i purchased a camera which is fully integrateable in our smart home for testing purpose. I already got it up and running now, so will get some more and put them in the required areas this week. This thing is really cool :)

I've been busy again :) But first i got myself an extension hose for the air tools:
P1260028-Kopie-1.jpg

We had this manhole in the garden where the hedge would go, and finally after the government confirmed the we can remove the water meter and close the unused water pipe. we're now able to remove the whole manhole and plant the hedge over it.. So first i decided to put some styrofoam down there to protect the stump of "active" pipe (not visible):
DSC_3827-Kopie.jpg

Then i got out the big hammers and a lot of sweat to destroy that damn concrete manhole ring. it sure takes lot of force to break that thing :)
DSC_3830-Kopie.jpg

Then i decided it was time to get some work done in the workshop / garage. so i installed some speakers in the workshop today. thanks to the multiroom audio system i can switch on everything by the ligt switch which is absolutely brilliant. Those are Yamaha (for a JDM head like me) speakers of course and they're outdoor spec. so they should be well protected against some dust...
Will add some more in the lift area soon...
P1260024-Kopie.jpg

To get some space, i started to hang all those Z-parts on the wall. also it looks quite decorative :)
P1260026-Kopie.jpg

It seems like i will have access to the lift to change to winter tires on our cars, just in time :)
P1260027-Kopie.jpg

Also our attached shed was finally finnished, so i was able to move all the gardening tools and plant-stuff out from the garage and gain some additional space again. It starts to look like what i had planned in the beginning...

Is that panel on the lower right all audio? Is the audio in the same panel as any line voltage?

Is there a matrix switch of some kinds for multi-source/multi-destination?

Very cool to see this space come together. It looks very functional, and I'm sure it is great to have all the space just downstairs from the living area!

Thanks a lot, yeah it's indeed very comfortable. not only for car work but for the general tinkering on this and that. You know, when your wife comes with something like "honeeeeeey, something seems strange here, can you have a look at it?", which usually meens a complete saturday afternoon of repairing something you never did before :lol_hitti

Regarding the audio system:
complete audio is in the lower right cabinet. so it's completely separated from the line-voltage. i recommand this to avoid a 50/60Hz buzz on the audio channels.

so basically the left cabinet is for line-voltage and smarthome control, the upper right is for network and the lower right is for audio.

You can control the entire Innotune server (which is an ASUS tinkerboard (similar to a raspberry Pi) inside, running a squeezebox application and a Logitech media server) by various http commands, which you can program as virtual outputs in the smarthome system, which then can be linked to actions or switches or sensors in whatever way you want. so you can really set it up as you prefer, but it needs some very basic understanding of logic and programming. no coding skills needed however.

it's absolutely excellent, supports airplay (apple), text-to-speech, tuneIn webradio, as a selection of alarm sounds, doorbell sounds and others included which can be triggered by inputs, includes NAS-drives and USB sticks as Audio sources and basically any plugin you can think about for your squeezebox or logitech media server.

In my case i can select everything (Audio Source (NAS in my case), Internet radio stations, volume, starting volume at power up, etc..) inside the app on my phone or the main Panel), but also i have it connected to the free switch below the light switch in the workshop:
1st press: Power on
next press: next audio source / radio station
double click: power off

this works brilliant so far. but maybe i will change to a loxone switch in future where you have 3 additional switching zones for volume up / down etc.. we'll see.. so far it works excellent

Those electrical/wiring panels gave me a panic attack.
Haha, actually it looks worse than it really is :)

What happened this week? Many small things, but the big deal was the Fence got installed, so we finally were able go get rid of that ugly, temporary sheep-fence :)
P1260046-Kopie.jpg

And i spent a lot of time in the garage, hanging up all the parts, installed the Air compressor and hose, hung up some speakers and so on. Just in time for winter-tire changing season :) Still a lot of small work but it gets better with every little bit you got done :)

looking good! your exited to get a rattle impact gun, sure! problem with them is its so loud just running compressor to use to undo 1 bolt!

Wait until you get tired of that, and buy a electric Impact gun (like a milwaukee) Then once again you will say "i cant believe i lived without this!!" cause thats what i did!

Garage is starting to fill up!

Your garage is looking great! It's been a great time watching your home's construction; now we'll hopefully get to see you utilize all the workshop spaces. Thanks for sharing!

So... I've been on GJ for many years so I don't normally have to binge read a thread, but somehow I missed this until now... I found it from a comment on Rudy's Datsun thread... :yikes: How did I miss this incredible thread? And I binge read the entire thing. But now I'm subscribed!

<snip>
And in the past we had this WW2-Leftover-law that you HAD to build a bomb-shelter so most people combined it with some basements or garage and now it's pretty common :)

That is a pretty cool law. I guess not from a war perspective, but I appreciate that the government wants the citizens to be prepared.

Now it's time to smoke some homemade bacon and cheese on nice Beechtree sawdust for christmas :)
P1220459-Kopie.jpg

Very interesting! Beech for smoke. I'll have to track some down to try it. Here in the US, aside from Hickory and Mesquite, the fruit woods are very common along with Pecan. My personal favorite is Sassafras.

And almost a week earlier than what our schedule by the Architect says, the roof was covered by the evening (except where the roof window and solar panel will go). If you look close you can also see the gutter half-pipe installed at the bottom of the roof:
P1230015-Kopie.jpg

I love the look of that roof.

And then we went to check out some furniture, since the currently used stuff is a bit worn out in some cases and won't be moved into our new, nice house. This things sometimes have a delivery time of 3 months, so we better order it soon...

I feel your pain/anticipation here... We ordered custom MCM inspired furniture from Italy that won't be in until early December. It had a 14-16 week delivery lead time and we ordered it before Italy's 2-week August holiday.

Update time! Finally the Photovoltaic panels got installed and wired to the technical compartment in the basement. The panels and metal connecting parts got deliverd slightly delayed from the supplier. but luckily it didn't affect the rest of the build so it wasn't a big deal. im happy it's done now and think it looks fantastic. The colour is matte black so it doesn't have that terrible glossy blue shine that older panels used to have.. it's now almost invisible with the black clay tiles around. perfect

The plaster guys brought out the big guns with this huge plaster mixer/tank/Pump:

The PV panel integration is great. It looks amazing with the roof.

And plaster walls. Our house has plaster walls and I love them. New construction here is all drywall. :(

BTW: this is how the electronic cabinet looks now. Much better, huh?

Wow. I'm only used to seeing IEC breakers in Industrial control panels. Very cool.

The plumber got a lot of stuff installed today and will continue tommorow:

That tub is awesome. What is it made out of?

Of course we had to set them up immediately and my wife started to sand them down while i was working on other things :)

Hey, your wife cut her hair shorter!

Thanks to my father in law who is a former gardener it was a piece of cake to also get the cherry tree in our garden up :)

Our cherry trees are 19 years old now. I love them and I will taking saplings with me when we move in 4 years.

Now THAT is a garage! Well done!

I second this opinion! Well done indeed!

Amazing setup, I love it!

Thanks a lot for all those kind words :)

looking good! your exited to get a rattle impact gun, sure! problem with them is its so loud just running compressor to use to undo 1 bolt!

Wait until you get tired of that, and buy a electric Impact gun (like a milwaukee) Then once again you will say "i cant believe i lived without this!!" cause thats what i did!

Garage is starting to fill up!

Rudi.

Well, that's your opinion *lol*. i prefer a compressor driven item instead of a Electric impact gun. Also because i can use it to inflate the tire pressure right after i installed them. Came in pretty handy so far and it's not that loud, so i'm pretty fine with it :)

Your garage is looking great! It's been a great time watching your home's construction; now we'll hopefully get to see you utilize all the workshop spaces. Thanks for sharing!
Oh indeed, winter is around the corner, so it has been quite handy to install winter tires on my and the entire family's cars *lol* I put up a money-box so it pays off a little too :lol_hitti

wow its coming together quite nicely. I'm curiuos on how everything is running on your home PLC's when its finished.
So far it's running very nice. Since i'm always improving things there's always little things to update here and there, but if i wouldn't be super geeky about it and try to include new things almost daily, it would just run perfectly fine :)
Just got the Vacuum cleaner robot up and running with the smarthome system. brilliant

So... I've been on GJ for many years so I don't normally have to binge read a thread, but somehow I missed this until now... I found it from a comment on Rudy's Datsun thread... :yikes: How did I miss this incredible thread? And I binge read the entire thing. But now I'm subscribed!
Ouf, th anks for the kind words. hope you enjoy following it. Updates will be a bit lesser since i have to catch up with other work before jumping into the garage work again, but there will be more, definitely :)

That is a pretty cool law. I guess not from a war perspective, but I appreciate that the government wants the citizens to be prepared.
Well it was nice back then, but now it's just an expensive leftover..

Very interesting! Beech for smoke. I'll have to track some down to try it. Here in the US, aside from Hickory and Mesquite, the fruit woods are very common along with Pecan. My personal favorite is Sassafras.
sounds interesting. Well beech is one of the most common woods for smoking here and i love it. If you've ever tried bacon from the german blackforest, youll gonna love it :)

well italy (or france) is a different story again. Luckily our stuff came from germany *lol*

Thanks a lot. I pushed my wife to spend the extra 1ooo on having the "integrated" solar panels, rather than those mounted on top of the tiles. You save some money on the tiles too :)
I don't know the climate zone in indiana thats how houses have been built here for many years. well except the mountain cottages (wood) and that instead of concrete and bricks, they used limestone and mortar in the past :)

I guess it's mandatory here. i've never seen anything else in europe, except in very old houses :)

The material is called "corean" very popular here (we use the same for the toilets, the sinks and much more. It's very handy and prices have come done since it's first introduction into the premium market. it's basically stone-dust molded together with a resin. very easy to create any shape from and very resistant to acid, heat or physical stress compared to concrete, ceramic, wood, or acryllic material.

Hey, your wife cut her hair shorter!
i guess i have to tell her she got a stalker now :lol_hitti

oh that sounds nice. I'm very happy we were able to save an 10 year old plum-tree on the other side of the house. the workers enjoyed eating fresh plums from the tree while working at the house :)

So far i haven't recceived it (it's ordered) but i have everything ready. Luckily some guy created Module to integrate it which you can purchase online. love this kind of stuff, even if it's more of a gimmick than really neccessary. But already last weekend i was very lucky to water the lawn while i was away by just pushing a button on my mobile phone. It's also cool to show off to friends and neighbours :lol_hitti

As to the comment about the IEC/DIN rail mount circuit breakers, they are not legal in the US for use in a panel, as used in the 50 HZ world, only will see them in control panels as they are listed for use as supplemental protection only. I see no reason to change that rule either.

Interesting. why are they not legal? I can't see any safety related issues or something? Just curious...

So, after the stressfull summer and since i have a lot of work at my daily job, i had to take it easy when it came to my home and cars for a few days. but now i feel motivated again to get some of the open tasks done..

First i finally got my Vacuum cleaner robot integrated into the smarthome system thanks to the Roowifi module. It takes some work but once it's up and running it's excellent :) Will have to order a new cover now that fits with the module...

This is the background programming that runs the robot in the smarthome system (Loxone config):

This is how itlooks on the Control panel / Mobile phone. Meanwhile i integrated some nicer symbols and some additional data to make it look smoother :)
FB_IMG_1573104052152-Kopie.jpg

Meanwhile i had a good friend of mine (who now runs his roll-cage building business) build me a "key" for the water tank. so i can open the top lock :)
DSC_0015-Kopie.jpg

And the fence-guys showed up to complete the fence, since one part had to be custom-welded after the rest was finnished first.

Now the electricians need to complete a few minor things and i still have a lot of here-and-there's to do. but winter is coming so i guess i'll find some time to do that :)

So, things are finally getting to an end. I mean it's still a ton of small things to do, but most of the wiring is done and working, most of the programming is done (now just a few details and some new project-upgrades, which i thought could be funky...). Christmas lighting is up and so on. So i found some free minutes to work on my garage and cars again.

So first i decided it's time to hang that decoration t hat has just been standing around for a while:
P1260291-Kopie.jpg

Then thought the Workbench tabletops could use another layer of linseed oil to give it some extra protection:
P1260288-Kopie.jpg

Ended up quite good if you ask me :)
P1260292-Kopie.jpg

What's next? Well still have to hang up some stuff in the other parts of the garage and sort through all the parts which have just been thrown into random boxes for moving. before i finally can start wrenching on my cars again..

Luckily my Panelbeater decided it's time to crank up the work on my 240Z again as well, so it looks like i have a rear and again after approx. two years without :)
