Insulation / sheetrock questions

I tried to search with no results.....I'm search challenged, I guess!

I had my 24 X 30 garage built 2 years ago but decided to insulate and sheetrock it myself. It is 2x4 walls with 9 foot tall walls and 2/3 of it has sizzor trusses with approx. 12 foot peaks. The walls were Tyvek wrapped over OSB and sided with vinyl. Do I need craft faced or plain fiberglass insulation and do I need to put plastic over the insulation before I install the sheetrock (I'm thinking not)? Just not sure what to do and I don't want to eff anything up or create problems. Any answers, info and opinions appreciates.

It depends on your climate. I think you’ll get more helpful responses if you update your post to include location.

I'm a fan of the Roxul. Higher R value than fiberglass and I feel like its easier to get the expected R-value by not over compressing it but still filling the cavity.

It does come with a higher price but its also flame and biologically resistant to growth if it ever does get wet.

Considering that you are in Ohio where the temperatures can drop pretty low, you should install a vapor barrier between the insulation and the sheetrock. If you don't, water vapor in the air will travel through the sheetrock and condense (turn back into liquid) on the inside side of the osb sheathing. Kraft facing on insulation serves as a vapor barrier. 4 mil or 6 mil plastic should be applied over unfaced insulation.
