A small Dutch garage

Hi all,

I have been reading for quite some time on the forum and since we (my wife and I) have made a bid on a nice little house, the bid got accepted so I thought it's time to setup my own page.

Anyway My name is Laurens, 25 years old, working/traveling across Europe and sometimes US or Asai as a Field Service Engineer at a company who is making dry ashing equipment for the Semiconductor industry.

The house is 57 years old and we bought it from the original owners as you imagine it need it a little bit of TLC (tender love care) and some modern features. But that’s for later.

But the most important thing is of course the garage.

And here is the current floor plan with garage. Our plan would be to extend the garage by minimum 2 meters. But we are still doubting if we shouldn’t make it longer.

The case will pass the notary on 6th of December and then we get the keys to our new little paradise in works..

For the people that want an impression on how the house is looking here is the kitchen, bathroom and diner+livingroom

I hope that my plan would work out since we are currenlty living a penthouse suite at hotel Inlaws. It is nice as for now but i do mind the privacy a bit.

I'm starting to go into woodworking and I have an Volvo 242 from '75. but i will post more on that after the Volvo comes home
