How to wire three switches and one light?

Hey fellas can someone help me out? For my kitchen light, I have three switches. When they remove the countertop they broke one of the wall switches and I forgot how it was wired. I have two blacks and one red wires and the whites are connected together. When I touch the red to one of the blacks the light comes on when I touch it to the other black nothing. My question is, how to wire the switch? Thanks guys.

Look at your wires, there is a black and red in the same cable, they go to the two screws that are the same color on your switch (Possibly brass color), the one black wire goes on the different color screw on the switch (Possibly black screw)

So it's the black and red from the same cable on one side (copper screw) and the black from the other cable on the other side correct?

Sounds like you have a 3-way switch.

One of the blacks is either power in or power out to the light. This would go on the black common screw.

The other black and the red would go on the brass screws. These are the travelers.
