I don't recall you posting that set before, Otg. I wonder if it's before or after the reefer set I posted awhile back, linked here, and the update (when I acquired an extension to complete it), linked here. EDIT: Reason I say that is the decal is different. Mine has the "Doggone Good Tools" slogan, and the model number is at the top. Here is a box full of fridge stuff.

The wartime logo is actually a stylized DC in a circle. Alloy Artifacts incorrectly calls it a Circle X.

Those are hard to find. Looks on good shape. Usually the selectors are beat up pretty bad. Here's an interesting durochrome 699 pat pending ratchet. Head looks sealed. Still works good.
I like that ell handle.Same gentleman sold me this indestro set.
I like that ell handle.
Looking for the following Plomb Pebbles Wrench 3061
A ratchet that 3bay doesn't have!?! One will show up soon enough.Nice ratchet. It’s been one of the most elusive for me. Usually seem to be too pricey, or beat up as R Olson said. That one looks good.

. You have to click your heels 3 times while saying duro chrome.
Sorry for the derail, couldn’t help but notice the similar look and position. My chick got a kick out of it as well.If I see one more photo of anyone wearing flips flops over socks I am unsubscribing from this thread!

I have the 1/2" and 3/4" versions of them. My handle is more yellow than orange though. All you fine folks have caused me to add Indestro in my tool scan at estate sales.
Thanks.
Thanks a lot.
Here's what I picked up a few days ago.
From what I've read, the 8099 Torque Wrench was produced in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 and 3/4. Mine is the 1/2" model. I know in the 1970 catalog the 1/2" wrench has a bridge scale versus the slide scale on mine. I therefore infer that mine is earlier that '70. Can anyone estimate when it might have been produced? Thanks.
