Glad I did preblack Friday with the menards match yesterday. Only thing I saw was the Ryobi pressure washer and I’m not sure that’s even all that special

Seems a number of pages are repeats in the ad, just a different position on the page.

Curious if this is everything, or if there's pages missing...

Not a good scan

I saw one for Rural King that was the same way and didn't bother to post.

Also looks like the back page might be missing.

Not much for Ryobi fans and kind of lame overall.

I was hoping HD might be better

Didn't see much either. A little disappointed, was hoping for some really good deals. Hopefully there are pages missing.

It will be removed soon from all sites, just like previous years, so peek while you can. 60 batteries (AA or AAA) for $13 is a good deal.

Last few years I've had trouble with the AA and AAA Rayovacs leaking.

For what it's worth, Home Depot has been promising investors better numbers recently. I'm sure they didn't want to offer discounts and cut into profits.

Does the M12 4 piece kit for $199 look like a good deal if I only wanted the ratchet and batteries and sell the rest of the stuff?

Stopped by HD a couple of days ago after buying some paint thinner at Walmart. Quart can of thinner was 25% higher priced than at Walmart. Same with a second item I had just purchased at WM (can’t remember what it was though).

Not impressed with HD... like I said before, I miss Menards down here in the desert.

as someone who doesn't not need any more basic cordless tools I find this year's add very underwhelming. I wish they would have some good deals on the more specialized tools. I might look into some of the "buy a starter set get a free tool" kits and then just return the starter set.

Multiple tools/sets in the holiday raceway are definitely higher than previous years.

$24.99 vs $19.99
$12.99 vs. $9.99.
Etc.

Noticed this trend when I have walked through the area after they set it up. Wonder how Soon we’ll see some price reductions. Mid December?

Higher prices are probably a result of tariffs on Chinese goods.

Does anyone know what the M12 batts are at bottom left of pg 7? Based on the price I'm guess 1.5CP and 3.0XC...

edit: disregard, it's visible on 9 as 2.0/4.0

This is dependent upon your home depot I think.

I've seen several sale prices posted in pictures from other Home Depots, while my closest HD still has the higher pricing waiting for BF.

Good luck! You're going to need it with that idea.

Has anyone here had any luck with the "Buy 2-pack batteries for $129, get "free" tool" and then returned the batteries?

I've seen reports elsewhere of this working out for folks, and if you put the stuff in your cart, it pro-rates the batteries and the tool, so if it works, and one CAN successfully return the un-needed batteries, there's a semi-decent discount to be had on some tools...

It’s on the receipt how much you will get back if you return.
It’s better to wait for Ryobi day than Black Friday.

they pro-rate the tools and the starter pack. basically if you buy the $129 starter pack and a $129 tool then return the starter pack you will get $65 back. it breaks it down right on the receipt, nothing illegal or immoral. now if you tried to return it without a receipt for full refund then yes, absolutely Immoral and possibly illegal. save your receipt and do it the right way.

I was in my local store yesterdayand picked up a few things in that flyer. A lot of blacked out boxes in the main isles, but a lot of BF deals available now. The Bosch spade bit set was even 5 bucks less than in the BF add.

I have been watching HD's BF sales for the past few yrs now, nothing ever caught my eye, in fact I don't think I've ever bought anything from HD on BF. Every year it's basically the same stuff.

This yr that changed. Got me the M18 12.0 battery for $108 & the M18 vacuum for $61. I'm happy but they weren't actually on BF specific deals. Been available for a couple of weeks now.

The M18 vacuum still available for $61? If so, where?

In 2017 I bought new tool boxes on black friday. My local store is loaded with boxes again this year, I was hoping to pick up one more for the price I think they're worth. Unless they plan to have a better sale in the coming weeks I think they'll be sitting on those boxes for a while. I don't think $50 off for the 46" wide 24" deep mobile work center is cheap enough to motivate many to buy it. Certainly not enough for me to pick one up.

in 2017 the 46" 9 drawer mobile work center was $199, marked down from $298. Not in this years ad, listed as $298 on the site. (the one in this year's ad is the 24" deep)

Also in 2017 I picked up the 52" flat black "industrial" chest and base combo for $598, down from $698. The 2019 price for the same setup is $898, marked down from $998. I really like this box, but It's a $600-700 box tops.

I get that prices go up, but that seems steep for 2 years.

There was a lot of talk last year about getting Home Depot to match the ACE hardware 50% off one item (up to $15 off) coupon from the ACE Black Friday ad (see attachments). Some people said their HD wouldn't accept the "competitors coupon" but most people that posted said they were able to get their HD to accept it. I'm trying it for first time this year. For the folks that successfully got their HD to accept/match the ACE 50% off one item (up to $15 off) coupon; Did the HD cashier give you any trouble? What did you have to say to get the cashier to accept it? Thanks!!

I know it works and many have done it. I flat out asked one of the employees at HomeDepot (who I know well) and he said it won't work. They'll ask for both items back. So I guess it depends on the store and how lax the returns department is.

That's not my experience, of course I'm not the only who has done this & not just this year either. As long as the free item has it's own seperate sku and retail packaging the return value will print on the receipt & can be returned.

A few days ago I purchased the M18 12.0 battery & got the M18 8.0 battery free. Walked right back into the store & returned the 8.0.

Next day I decided to get the vacuum. Bought the M18 4.0 starter pack & got the vacuum free. Again, walked right back into the store & returned the starter pack.

This was at 2 different HDs, return was only within 10 mins of purchase & both times no questions asked.

I don't rely on the word of a retail employee on anything. It's right on the receipt. The whole "must return all items for a full refund" is being misinterpreted by some of those employees, but it's not their job to do so. You are not asking for a full refund.

Every person that's failed on this has let some flunky tell him it can't be done, not had the system disallow it. Again, it's stated there right on the receipt. And it's intentional, rather than have folks come in and pull the whole "I got this as a gift, blah blah blah", for full store credit. You hand them the item and the receipt, and say I'd like to return this - period.

I just got back from HD too.
I can’t find anything worth buying.
Maybe GJ members can share what’s worth buying from the BF flyer.
