Had to run to Meijer this morning for a couple items prior to Thanksgiving dinner. Saw that their Tekton tools were all on sale 40% off today and tomorrow. Might have to finally pull the trigger on a few things.

I hit them up a couple weeks ago when they ran the 40% off. That store was pretty well picked over but I did alright.

Stopped by today and got a pair of long nose diagonal pliers and a set of ball end hex keys for 40% off. They still had quite a bit of tools remaining. This is honestly my first Tekton purchase.

The new screwdrivers weren’t out yet. They still had the funky black handle screwdrivers. Maybe they’ll be in stores once they restock after this big sale?

Speaking of which, anyone have their hex and torx bit sockets? Are they any good?

I bought the torx a few weeks ago at the last sale the quality seems nice to and for the price and my limited use they should work well. I wish the store near me had better selection at this price their tools seem like a no brainer.

Thanks! I’m glad they’re working out well for you. I was debating on getting both sets of Tekton hex bit sockets today but decided to hold off. I want sets on a rails and the cheapest I have found is Duralast from Auto Zone at $15, but the plastic rails they come on are cheap and the sockets fall off. I was disappointed with the Duralast 1/4” metric set I bought in a hurry one afternoon and the sockets wouldn’t stay on the thing. The only other brand I’ve found on a rail at a good price are the Channellock hex bit sockets at Do It Best Hardware for $22. Something tells me to go with the Tekton.

Fantastic and thanks for the heads-up!

Just got home with a set of 3/8" and 1/2" metric impact deeps and a set of 12"/18"/24" extensions in 3/8" sqdr which were tools never populated in my box.

Happy with the deal.
