Just a heads up to everyone. CPO Outlet's web site has the Dewalt DWE7480 listed for $399, but when you click add to cart the price drops to $229 !!!!!!!!

The dust port diameter is 2.5-inches. You will probably need a larger hose than what your shop vac provides. An adapter won't really help - the reason the port size is so large is because it needs high CFM rather than high suction. A small vacuum with an adapter will be better than nothing, but probably not great.

Thank you for the feedback. I will measure and search for an adapter and give it a shot. I will keep my expectations low.

One solution that is cheap and probably locally available is a fernco coupler:

They come in lots of sizes. I've used this solution before for dust extractor fittings.

Thanks for posting, OP. I had some trouble with the CPO website and accidentally ended up ordering 3 of these, as none of the orders appeared to go through and complete. Then 3 confirmation emails showed up in my inbox. Thankfully CPO was easy to call and deal with over the phone. As of now, a single one is on it's way (hopefully)

Yeah nothing in spam and no ship notifications from UPS or FedEx directly. You called them directly so that could be why yours shipped. Maybe it fixed their error manually.

Hopefully it is new. Reconditioned is a different link. They don't mark new items as new and only mark reconditioned items for some reason.

I bought that table saw along with the dewalt stand in a package deal from amazon in 2017. The saw works great, in fact I use it today to cut pieces for a cutting board I'm making. I have no complaints at all and wouldn't hesitate at that price point.

Not exactly thrilled with my first order from them. So if your order didn't ship please call customer service. They charge your credit card fast but don't ship fast if you are randomly selected.

Friday I stopped by a local HD while I was out and they wouldn't price match CPO. In fact they wouldn't price match any online sale. Only B&Ms like Lowes or from a flyer or receipt.

So I was going to order from CPO, but the sale was over back at $299. Anyway, Saturday morning it was back on sale at CPO. I tried HD chat again, but this time used Tyler Tool. They matched, but I couldn't pick up in store, must ship home.

Wife called, said it was delivered this morning

Great saw, ive seen these on the jobsite for years. Every pro millworker I know has this or the newer Sawstop.

Question tho: How loud is yours?

I fired mine up just to see if everything works before storing till the next project. Granted I was in the kitchen, but the drone and decibels seemed very high?

This will be my 4th DeWalt portable/jobsite saw, my 5th portable overall. (I sidetracked into one of the Bosch units a few years ago and smoked it in under a year). I cut a lot of material on tablesaws, and I'm not gentile. Hoping (knock on wood (or composite, or cement board)) that I get at least 3 good years out of this saw. I ordered the DW7451 stand ($75 with tax) off Amazon, curious to see if I'll really need to bolt the saw to the stand

UPS shows the package has arrived at its destination and will be delivered later today.

Normal ground shipping. Usually if the order leaves Dallas by 10PM, I get next day service.

Was delivered 15 minutes ago and is now resting comfortable in the garage.
Tonight I'll unbox and inspect. Merry Christmas to me!!!!!!!
