in for 2 of the Lufkin 25' on the bottom & the Craftsman 25' too. The HF ones work, but the flimsy tape really gets annoying

My American Express card (Amex Offers) has an offer for $10 statement credit when you make $50 in purchases. The $50 threshold does not need to be a single transaction, i.e., you can make 5 purchases of $10 each and still get the credit. This offer can be used with any in-store coupons also.

Easy to buy a $50 gift card (for Lowes or elsewhere) in-store and get the statement credit.

I grabbed this 20-piece set of ratcheting combination wrenches (10 metric, 10 SAE) in most of the sizes I'll ever need: 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 mm and 1/4, 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16 and 3/4-inch (remembering that 3/4" = 19mm)

Those offers are targeted - not everyone will get them.

Have you gotten the credit when purchasing gift cards? The offer terms exclude purchase of gift cards and others have reported that they did not get the credit when they purchased gift cards.

If you have gotten the credit with a gift card purchase, how did you do it?

True - not every Amex card will get the offer. I guess I assumed people with an Amex understand that the particular offers you get on your card will vary. Sorry for not being more clear.

Also, good catch on the gift card exclusion. I did not see that. I have not purchased gift cards myself, but based on the terms you pointed out, I wouldn't expect to get the rebate if I did.

Checked on my tape measure order. 2nd one in a row now where they cancel my order and I get no notification, I have to go look up the order on the website then see 'cancelled'. used to at least get an email saying it was cancelled. WTF :mad:

Yeah, the ship to store is ****. It took three or four weeks for the last order I placed to show up.

At least 50-60% of my orders get cancelled without notification. It’s a **** show but the ones that do ship are steals

I bought some 18 packs of the coffee. Even though its 100% arabica its pretty weak. Its on par with regular folgers or maxwell house. Not very good in my opinion.

I agree. Pretty meh. I grabbed a couple boxes anyway.
I did score the coffee maker at $93 and a thermos for $5.
It’s a well built unit and cranked out a cup in about a minute from plugging it in.

Bought 19 boxes of the coffee since we go through a lot of coffee, for that price if it’s bad my wife can take it to work with her to give out. Coffee makers were full price though. I’ve got a commercial Keurig anyway which brews hotter than the non commercial models so switching machines would be hard even if it looks cool.

Deal is dead. I was aware of this deal early this morning. Reluctant to post. I believe Lowes monitors this site and as soon as someone posts a killer deal. Lowes kills it! I did get my order in. We'll see what happens.

I’ve had this impact for a while so no harm no foul on my part whether it gets cancelled, ***** if you try to share an awesome deal on here and they monitor it, too bad we couldn’t have it more locked down just the game we play eh? Hopefully the guys that placed the order we’ll get them, honestly not a lot cheaper than the newer version they have with a single battery but it’ll be interesting to see

I highly doubt they actively monitor this thread. I would imagine they have internal "circuit breakers" or limit stops on their own ordering system.
