Northern Tools/Klutch welding table

I recently purchased a Klutch/Northern Tools welding table and finally assembled it last evening as I needed to actually use it. This is a well built and thought out table. The table is flat, easy to assemble and the clamps that come with it are very good for the cost. No, you are not going to build monstrous items on this table, but I have not seen another welding in this price range that is close to this one. I was fortunate enough to buy this on sale and my shipping was also free. This welding table is a bargain for $139.00 plus tax and even at $199.00, I still believe it to be a good deal.

Approximately .150/4mm. It has a ground service and has minimal run out of maybe .030

For 1/4" thick plate top it is a really good deal for the price. How tall is it?

Not even close, it's 4mm per the listing which works out to around 5/32nd (less than 3/16"). Not to say it's a bad table, but let's not misrepresent.

I've found 3/16" to be about the thinnest you can reasonably clamp for fit up (not for straightening any bends) without too much distortion.

I was guessing. I was not in the shop when I made the post. I will check tomorrow and post what I actually find measurement to be.

I stand corrected 3 Gun Shooter! My over zealous eyes and imagination seems to have gotten the best of me. You are absolutely correct on this faux pas I committed. It is indeed 4mm. Four millimeters or not, this is a nice table and as I originally posted, your not going to be building monstrous items, but it is a nice product never the less
