I purchased Racedeck tiles for my garage but I have an access port to a draining pipe that is raised about 1/4 inch from the rest of the tiles (photo attached). I’m thinking of sanding/grinding the tile above the opening. Any suggestions or tools I should use for this?

Thanks for your help.

Any reason not to cut a hole so you retain that access?

In a previous garage, we followed this advice and remove the locks. We just set it in place and never had an issue. Would be different if it was a traffic area
