I remember a year or two ago there was a big buzz in the tool world about locking pliers (otherwise known as vise grips) being made in the USA again. However, since then I haven't heard much news or seen anything on the tool forums. Anybody know something I don't? Just looking for more information.

Malco bought the dewit Nebraska plant. It is taking longer than originally planned to bring them to production.

I've been meaning to add MORE to my set ?
Is it WORTH the wait to see what Malco's comes out with ? vs....bollmans, or even just a 10 pack milwaukee...

Thanks guys for the replies. Guess I’ll have to keep my head up and wait for an update from Malco. I got an older craftsman set and a few newer Milwaukee’s. Just like stuff made in USA.
