Eaton/Polar air piston compressor?

I've got a new 5hp 80 gallon dual stage compressor w/ their dryer. Has anyone experience oil spitting/misting out of the crank case? I was cleaning the shop and was going to check the tension on the belts. I then saw oil spots on the front, top, sides of the compressor. Curious if any body else had this same situation.

It has no more than 30 minutes of actual run time, after the initial filling of the system.

The first picture is where the oil is coming out off,

It’s a breather. You can feel air puffing out while running.

Oil level is correct via sight glass though ?

Run it a while also, let it break in and rings to seat.

Apparently there is a air breather they forgot to put on. It’s iron pipe elbows, tees, breather. Crude but works

I have had one for ten years now and it’s awesome. Quiet. Mine is the same model as the OP
