What to do? Four corners. Two down, two to go then Down-under.

The Toyota FJ cruisers appear to have a significant following. Just like Andy's thread here.

All the better for seeing Andy post again!!:thumbup::thumbup:

They are a bit odd, that seems to fit my personality.

Well......

What to do indeed.

Tank up and head out again.

Why not? Do you have your tracking radar ready to go?

Life's a journey, not a destination!

Travel well!

Thanks, mate!

 I say it as I see it. :)

I'm just glad you didn't look too close.

What to do? Four corners. Two down, two to go then Down-under.

I've got so much updating to do, but I don't want to let go of things that happened.

Sharon's Rose of Sharon was in full bloom when she passed. I made of bouquet of them to take to church with me and set in her place on Sunday before her Monday funeral.

That worked out so well I asked our florist to come by and make an arrangement for the service. She was a real trooper, showing up the morning of the service an making the arrangement in our yard (garden) as I cut flowers off the bush. Way out of her normal comfort zone.

It was perfect for the funeral. Many friends sent many flowers and it was a wonderful service. Sharon had detailed what she wanted for the service a couple of years before, including a busy evangelist to preach, and we were able to follow her instructions precisely. The evangelist changed plans to be able to attend and preach. He has my eternal gratitude but he did that for Sharon, not for me.

Hershey and I continued to walk every morning.

Sharon's body but not her soul is laid to rest in a peaceful place.

And my exercise class gave me love and support throughout.

This was the evening after the funeral. Hard exercise is good for the soul.

So much of what you do, resonates with me my friend.

PS, you certainly are the pretty girl in the exercise group.

Healthy way of recovering mentally and physically.

Hey Andy, I bought a parts truck for my project last week. The flat bed driver said he did not think these drivers side tires would hold air. I knew that you would not let that stop you from trying to air them so I tried and he was right. I just happened to have two 6 hole 15's from my project that I've changed over to 5 hole 15's.

All this to say, when I saw these tires I thought of you.

Lovely post and memories of Sharon. Thanks for sharing with us Andy. I think I got a little dust in my eye or something.

Sharon's rose looks just like the hibiscus here! In fact there is a whole peninsula not far from here where they almost grow wild and called the Hibiscus coast.

Good call Rick!

I'm really enjoying following your travels Andy, and love the matching FJs!

My first car when I was 18 was a '76 FJ40 (same year model as me), I would love a newer one.

I’m not sure but I was driving to lunch and a yellow FJ kept following me and honking their horn. 2553c5971ce5f1c8aae65c1831617e15.jpg

Hi Andy,

Excited to hear you'll be coming back to my neck of the woods at some point...and with an entaurage no less...

I'll send you a PM with my contact info...give me a bit of notice ahead of time and we'll set something up.

I'm going to start a thread on my disaster of a shop this weekend (there - I've committed. Gotta do it now instead of putting it off another year...). Now I just gotta think of a good title for it :rolleyes2

Andy: hope you have a fun safe trip again.

it's been 2 days and at the rate you drive you could be in Florida or some other part of the USA by now. i'm guessing you are not heading north to go visit friends during the arctic freeze so my guess is Florida or someplace down south.

looking forward to updates especially since it was like we were driving in your car with you last time. did you find another FJ to buy?

cheers

Some one is sure clocking up the miles meeting our GJ members.
Andy you must love driving. Would just love to spend some time in the passenger seat with you.

Now it looks more like three peas in two pods  Really nice to see Andy around and about.
