Hello All, looking for some help as I'm trying to close up my building before insulating.
There is a trim piece for the overhang (white) and a gap between it and the tan ribbed steel siding. The gap ends up being ~1".
I am not trying to get the building air tight. But I do want to keep bugs and bats out. How do I seal that gap up?
I dont want to just spray foam, because it will look horrible. So I though maybe pressing in a backer rod up there and foaming from behind to hold it in place?
I know there are closure strips but those only work when the ribs are perpendicular.
Any help is appreciated!
